I couldn't believe what I just read. I should have told y/n about this. Shit!
Y/n: so what the hell is that!!
Joel: I was gonna tell you sooner but-
I got cut off
Y/n: NO! Didn't you see! What will happen if I didn't open that letter! When did you plan on telling me huh?! Right when you get murder or something! Are we in danger or-
She began to cry
Joel: Amor... I promise I will do my best to protect you and the kids
I walked over to her and hug her while she sobs into my chest
Diana: mommy are you okay?
We turned to look to see Diana walking towards us
Diana: daddy why mommy crying?
I bent down to her level
Joel: mommy is fine
Diana: but why mommy cry
I looked up at y/n and y/n bent down too
Y/n: it's okay mija. I'm fine I hurt myself with the paper
Y/n gave Diana her hand to show Diana that she was hurt
Diana: it's okay mommy. I fix it
Diana ran back to the living room and then came back with her doctor toys. She then came up to y/n and fixed her hand
[Y/n's POV]
Y/n: hey babe, can you go check on Eliott
Joel: yeah
Joel kisses my head and left to check on Eliott
Diana: I'm done!
Y/n: thank you baby! I feel better!
I hug Diana but we got interrupted by Joel running to us and I look at him to see what's wrong
Joel: Eliott is gone!
Y/n: WHAT!
