Luis's Table 🕊

Luis explaining to AJ and Scott about how he got the tip.

Luis and his cousin Ernesto talking and laughing, Luis's voice over, "So, uh, he tells me that-"

Ernesto mouths what Luis's voice over is saying as if he's telling him, "-she's working as a housekeeper now, right? And she's dating this dude, Carlos, who's a shot caller from across the bay."

Flashback: Backyard

A group of gangsters having a barbecue in a backyard, all talking, drinking beer, cooking food, etc. Luis's voice over, "And she tells him about the dude that she's cleaning for. Right?"

The woman named Emily is sitting on the lap of the man named Carlos, she mouthing Luis's voice over words as if she's telling Carlos, "That he's like this big-shot CEO that is all retired now, but he's loaded."

Flashback: Baseball Game

A man lines up on the starter line as he holds his baseball bat, ready to hit the ball, he watches the ball get thrown and swings his bat but misses to hit the ball.

Luis's voice over, "And so, Carlos and Ernesto are on the same softball team, and they get to talking, right?" The man drops the bat in anger and takes off his cap, throwing it down on the ground in anger as he walks back to the pit where the waiting players are at, "And here comes the good part." Carlos and Ernesto are leaning against the pit fence; Carlos beside the gate-frame and Ernesto on the gate, the man walks in the pit, Luis's voice, "Carlos says,-"

Carlos grabs Ernesto's attention, Carlos mouthing Luis's voice over words as if he's tells Ernesto "'Yo, man.'" Ernesto looks over his left shoulder to him, Carlos mouthing Luis's voice over words, "'This guy's got a big-ass safe just sitting in the basement, just chilling.'"

Present: Luis's Apartment
Kitchen

Luis looking at Scott serious as he gestures to himself with his hand as he says, "Of course Ernesto comes to me because he knows I got mad thieving skills."

Flashback: Restaurant

Luis's voice over, "Of course I ask him..." Luis looking at Ernesto with narrowed curious eyes.

Luis's voice over, "'Did Emily-" Emily laughing.

Flashback: Baseball Game

Luis's voice over, "-tell Carlos to-" Carlos lining up his baseball bat as he stares forward for the ball to be thrown.

Luis's voice over, "-tell you to get-" Ernesto smiling as he nods a bit.

Luis looking at Ernesto with curious suspicious eyes as he mouths his own words, "-to me what kind of safe it was?'" Luis's voice as Ernesto shakes his head, "And he says,-" Ernesto mouthing Luis's voice over words, "'Nah, dawg. All she said is that it's, like, super-legit-" He points down as in indicating inside something, "-and whatever's in it,-" He moves his finger tips together indicating money with a nod and a happy smile, "-its gotta be good." Luis look down as if he's interested.
