Chapter 5 : First party

" So wanna go to the party tonight
babe ?" Kyle asked Jackie as we got into the car

" Yeah why not , ashley come with us " jackie sort of demanded

" No , I am good " I shuddered

" Oh wait , don't tell me you didn't go to parties in great Britain " he mocked

" What ? Of course I did " only parties in dresses and suits when I used to go with my family to a lord's party or business men's

" Let's go then " he said as he set the car to life leaving me with no choice but to accompany them

the music could be heard miles away from the house , as We got out of the car after Kyle has parked his precious Volvo car in front of the house
Men and women were dancing on tables or in the living room with red cups , if you even call that dancing

" Here " Jackie handed me a drink after Kyle has disappeared

"What's that " I asked

" Beer " Jackie stated

" No thanks , I have a headache and I don't want it to get worse

" I have Advil if you want , I always keep some for Kyle " she said

" Oh no thank you , I think I will just go and get some water " I said

" Alright , the kitchen is that way by the way " she said and she pointed behind her

As I entered the kitchen I headed towards the faucet and got a clean cup from one of the cabinets totally ignoring the couple sitting on the counter sucking each other's faces
After I filled the cup I looked out of the window admiring the view , who would destroy this beautiful house to host a party

" You guys !! Seriously get a room " a voice behind me said , obviously he was talking to the love birds

" Don't be a jerk " the other voice said

" I am not , and don't even think about getting into the bedrooms upstairs , i have Locked them all , I don't want to get a lecture from my parents especially my mother on how expensive the vases are " the voice said again

"why hello there " someone tapped my shoulder , the same guy who was talking

"hi" I said , giving him my back

" Mind if you turn around " He asked

" Yeah I would actually , now leave me alone " the headache was getting stronger

" Can't do my love , this is my house " he said as he grabbed me by my waist touching where the bandage was causing me to flinch and turn around

" don't touch me you prick " i hissed

" did I hurt you " he asked

" Yeah you actually did , go away " I said as I lifted my blouse to see if the bandage was still in place

" A new tattoo ? " He smirked

" Don't you have anything to do
other than irritating me ? "I asked as i moved passed him into the living room where jackie was

When I looked around he was following me ! Of course

"Jackie , I want to leave " I said which caused a frown to form on her face

" But wh.." she stopped when she looked behind me l" Caleb !! Long time no see babe " she hugged the irritating stranger

" Look who I found in my kitchen giving me an attitude " he said causing Jackie to laugh

" No honey , this is ashley , we live together " she explained

" you guys are not like together or something right ?" He mocked causing jacked to chuckle

" No idiot "

" I wanna leave , I have to wake up early tomorrow " I said , causing both of them look at me

" Okay , I will drive you " caleb offered

" No thanks " i said

" Don't be stubborn , I will drive you " caleb said and then disappeared among the people

" Don't you have college tomorrow ? " I asked Jackie

" College ? no " she said

" What ? I thought you were in college "

" Nope I decided against it I have
attended the first 3 semesters and then dropped " she looked around

"Why" I asked

" We just decided so " I felt like she was trying to end the conversation and who did she mean by 'we'

" Um okay " it was getting pretty awkward till caleb appeared wearing a black leather jacket

" Ready ? I have got the keys" he said

" Jackie can I have your apartment keys " I asked her

" Yeah sure , take them " she got them out of her purse

After I thanked Her and left , we got into caleb's jeep car

" so you have college tomorrow ? " caleb asked breaking the silence

" Yeah " i said as I rested my head against the window

" What are you studying ?"

" business " I replied which caused him to chuckle

" What's funny " I turned to him

" Nothing , so at which university ? " he asked

" Harvard " I replied

" Your parents must have plenty of money " He said

" Something like that " I wanted to ask him back whether if he is a college boy or not but he doesn't look like it

I could see the familiar street coming to view till caleb Parked his car in front of my apartment

" Thanks for the ride" I said as I opened the door

" no problem , I will see you soon , yeah ?" He asked

" I don't think so " I said

" Oh , trust me you will "he laughed and with that he took off leaving me confused
