Chapter 11 : here we go

It's quiet

Ofcourse it's quiet , we are in the library but apparently jake doesn't get the hidden messages behind the librarian glares , he is terrible in keeping his voice down

I came up here to catch up some of my studying which I have failed to take care of , since I was busy with serving jackie in bed considering she has been in a terrible pain after the abortion , and I couldn't deal with this Nervous tension at home considering that in two days she will be facing her ex-boyfriend At court

but apparently jake didn't help me study in peace as to my luck once he spotted me in the school's library , he invited himself and sat down to earn us a few glares from other students

" Would you hshh for a minute , this is the fifth time I fail at solving this balance sheet , they just won't balance " I try to lower my voice so we wouldn't end up getting thrown out from the library

" oh I am sorry I didn't know I was distracting you " he giggles

" You don't say" I fake a gasp as I try to revise the table

" Here this one " he points at the current assets

" That doesn't make sense " I huff in frustration

" Sure it does , you haven't calculated it correctly " he points out

" What ? Ofcourse I have " I say as I type the numbers again on the calculator , but this time it's seems like I was wrong and jake was right , I didn't calculate it correctly

" Um..Thanks " I say and then look at his opened accounting book which he hasn't even bothered to look at " aren't you gonna study ? Isn't that what you were supposed to be doing 'coming here to study ' " that was definitely what he said when he asked to sit with me

" You're most welcomed " but maybe you'll do me the honour of hanging out with me if ofcourse you agreed " he smiles ignoring my last statement

" Ha .. Not a chance " I look away from him and try to solve the income statement this time

" Oh come on ashley " he says rather loudly because the librarian glares at us for probably the seventh time

" No " i reply after she has looked away

" Fine then .. I will keep on raising my voice till I get us both kicked out " he shrugs but I keep on ignoring him

" here I am , this is me .... There is no where else on earth I would rather be ... " he starts to sing ,I instantly look around to see whether the other students can hear him but ofcourse my assumptions are correct as everyone is Already looking at us , I look up at jake shooting him a glare hoping he would just stop singing

" Here I am , cause me and you tonight we are making our dreams come tr... " he couldn't continue as the librarian has already approached us

" You two get out of my library " she hisses at us and my jaw drops but jake just smirks

" Fine by me , shall we ?" He offers me his hand as he stands up but I ignore him and gather my books and take my bag rushing out of the door

" Wait up ashley " I hear jake shouting behind me as he runs after me

" What the hell do you want ? I was already mistaken when i allowed you to sit on the table with me , now look at us we just got kicked out " I shout at him , not bothering with the people starting at us

" I just need us to hang out , don't be dramatic " he replies

" Are you serious " I shout

" Oh would you stop shouting at me , you are even worse than my mother when she screams at me " He touches his head

Really if looks could have killed he would have been collapsing on the ground right now

" Now " he says quietly " would you please let me take you out " he asks

" Don't consider it as a date " he adds quickly before I even get the chance to reply

" No " I huff and turn on my heels to leave

" Cause you are a sky ... You are a sky .. Full of stars .. " I freeze when I hear him singing again

oh my god ! Not again
People are staring to look at us again

" I am gonna give you my heart , cause you are a sky full of stars , cause you light up the ... " I finally manage to shut him by shutting his mouth with my right hand

" Fine , just tonight " I whisper so nobody would hear us

" Perfect " he mumbles against my hand

" Are you gonna stop now " I shot him a glare , debating whether I should remove my hand or not but he nods in response

" I will pick you up at 7 " he says when I remove my hand

" Can't wait " I roll my eyes and walk away from him

" Have I seen him before " jackie asks when I get out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my body

" No ... Yes , I think " I reply

" A No , a Yes and an I think ... Am I supposed to guess ? I am puzzled here "

" At the police station " I reply

" Oh " she shudders at the memory it self but tries to avoid it by asking another question " the hot papa or the son " she winks

"yeah definitely the papa " I roll my eyes at her

" Then I will have the son " she proudly says

" be my guest , take the asshole " I say as I try to pick up a Hideous outfit

" He is pretty hot " she states as I walk into the dressing room

" He is " I agree

" so why is he taking you out " she asks

" Beats me " I reply back and walk to the dressing table

"what is that shirt you are wearing " her jaw drops at my 2 kittens t-shirt

" What ? i like it " I pout

" It's terrible for a date " she states

" It's not a date " I remind her for the tenth time or something as I adjust my pink bow sur tête

" I feel like I am talking to a girl in kindergarten " she drops the magazine on the bed

" Good , then it's working " but before I can say anything the door's bell rings

" And this is where the fun begins " I smile devilishly

" I feel sorry for the poor guy " I hear jackie mutters before I leave the room

And honestly deep down I do too ...
