Chapter 7:
We looked around the room; the people in the room looked at us. How the f**k did they find out? I bet someone told them it was us and if they did, they would be well sorry. I think someone did something like this in year 7, and they got I.S.S for a week. But, they weren’t on H-M. We gathered our bags and walked to the office. We saw Brian coming back from the toilets, “Where are you guys going?” He said in his high pitched voice.
“To the heads office” I replied.
“OMG, did they find out? Do you want me to come with ya?”
“No, don’t worry no point all of us getting into trouble is there?” Billy answered “I’m going to take the full blame so it doesn’t matter anyway.”
Everyone started moaning at Billy about taking the blame.
“You can’t do that!” “It ain’t on” “That’s ridicules!” “You weren’t the only one that planned it!” “No way are you doing that!” I stayed quiet until everyone was finished, then I spoke, “You weren’t the one that sent round the message. If anyone is gonna take the blame, it’s me.”
I walked off before they had the chance to moan at me and I went straight into the office without knocking. “It was me, Sir; the others had nothing to do with it.”
“Sit down Miss Jones.” He said in a very angry voice.
The others walked in but they didn’t talk automatically like I did. Rosie sat down next to me and the others stood in a semi-circle behind us. Billy stood next to and held my hand.
“I take it you know why I called you in here?” I nodded and so did everyone else. “Why did I call you in here Clara?” Great. Why did he have to pick on me?
“Because of the flash mob.”
“Exactly. I want you to tell me exactly who was involved, who the ringleader of this little scheme was, how you got into the schools Sound System when all of you are failing I.C.T and I want you to tell me what your punishment should be. Begin now, you first Clara.”
“OK, I have one question though, how did you find out it was me?” I said me, not us so that the others could still get out of trouble if they played the right game.
“You should check who is on your contact list before you send a chain message.” He smiled “Now can you answer my questions.”
“OK, I was the only one involved, I was the ringleader, I got into the sound system by rewiring the system and I should be punished with a week in I.S.S.” He nodded and then he read out my message, the one I had sent to everyone, “Hey guys, It’s me. Me and my friends had a really good idea. FLASH MOB MASH-UP! Meet on the field just after break and do what comes naturally to you. Tell ALL STUDENTS!! If anyone tells a teacher I WILL TRACK YOU DOWN AND EAT YOU!!! Bye xxx”
Then Billy started talking, “By friends she meant me and her, she wasn’t the ring leader either, I was and I paid someone to get us into the system so that I could play the music.”
This happened another six times and by the end of it, he decided that we were all guilty.
“You all purposely distracted the school from its studies and frankly, I’ve had enough of you. You never bother to obey the rule and when you do, you do it so loosely that you don’t really do anything.” He paused, as if waiting for us to object, “I know what your punishment should be, three days of suspension.”
“THAT’S WHAT I SAID!” I shouted
“No, you said I.S.S, I said suspension.” He said it with a smug grin on his face. Then I punched him. In the face. Hard

We were sitting outside the school because they had to pull me back. I wanted to hit him some more but they wouldn’t let me. It was my fault that everyone had a weeks worth of suspension now, instead of three day. After they dragged me out of the room, Billy and Rosie went back in there and both of them gave him a quick kick to the shins and after that we were escorted of the grounds by a police officer. We could have gone to jail but the Head didn’t press charges so we were alright. I wasn’t too sure how to police got there, but they did. So there we were, sitting outside school with nothing to do. Our parents knew but I was ignoring their phone calls and they couldn’t come and get me because they had work. I understand why I got a week, ok and Rosie and Billy, but not everyone else! They didn’t even DO anything!
“He’s such an ass.”
“He’s such a dick!”
“He’s such a poo-head.” Of course Shane would try to turn this into a joke, and any other time we would have laughed. But today I just wasn’t in the mood. The bus came and we got on it. I wasn’t sure where we were going but the others seemed to know so I followed them.
“Where are we going?” I asked.
“We’re going to see Graham.”
Graham was George’s brother and he didn’t live with his parents anymore.
“Why are we going to see him? Doesn’t he have collage?”
“No, he got kicked out about three weeks ago. That’s why my parents kicked him out. They said to me that if I ever got kicked out of school or collage, I couldn’t live with them anymore. Suspension included. So, I have no where to live for the next week. “The thing is, all of our parents are strict. None of them are bad parents which is why a lot of people think that we would be well behaved kids. Well until they meet us anyway. George continued, “I was thinking that I could crash with Gray but I’m not to sure.” I felt bad for him. George was a good kid, deep down, ok way deep down but still. Graham wasn’t.
Shane spoke to him, “You could crash with us, but our parents wouldn’t know. They’d probably kick us out as well if they found out that’s what your parents did to you. Right sis?”
I nodded in agreement.
“Guys?”
They all looked at me expectantly.
“I don’t think the school should get away with suspending us.”
“NO WAY!” Billy was extremely enthusiastic.
“We should play the biggest prank ever! We should pull a prank so big that they won’t even know what hit them!”
“How are we going to do that? We can’t legally set a foot in the premises for a week. Unless you want to do it illegally, which I’m fine with but it would be better to do it legally.”
Everyone nodded in agreement.
“So what are we going to do?” Billy looked like want to do it there and then. Everyone put on their thinking faces and I laughed. They looked funny. Then I thought about it.
“Guys? I think I have an idea.”
