Chapter 11
We sat their and ended up drinking like, seven cups of coffee each. I think that was why they put up with us shouting and swearing. I ignored about twenty calls from my Mum and Dad because the police had called them and told them what happened. I think they called everyone other than Brian because they didn’t know I was friends with him. We decided that we would go to the park again after we had finished our eighth cup of coffee. We got on the bus and started talking about how this prank was going to work.
“Well, we know we can’t trust everyone.” Rosie was looking at this more logically than we were.
“How the f**k do we know that?” Shane still had a really bad headache and wasn’t really in the mood to talk but was criticising everyone else’s ideas.
“Well, someone turned in Brian.” said Rosie in a boarded tone.
“I checked my contact list and I KNOW I didn’t send the school the message. I sent it to everyone on my contacts but the school WASN’T ON THERE! Someone must have forwarded it to them!” I worked it out just after we had gotten on the bus. I knew I hadn’t been so stupid!
“So we know there’s a snitch. I don’t think we should tell anyone seeing as we don’t know who it is. That way people won’t look at us when things go wrong! IT’S BRILLIANT!” Billy was all for the idea.
“Are we gonna go park or not?” Shane was right, we had to get off of the bus now unless we wanted to miss the stop.
We got off and went and sat on the bike ramp.
“Anyone want a fag?” James asked Gemma and George. James and Gemma both smoked and George had the odd one occasionally but the rest of us didn’t.
“Go on then. Anyone got a light? They took mine off of me when I got arrested.” Gemma was getting back to normal.
“Nar, I’m alright mate but thanks for asking.” Rosie didn’t like the fact that George smoked so if he was with her, he wouldn’t.
We sat there for hours before I finally got boarded. I decided that I couldn’t put it off any longer and called my Mum.
“Hi Mum.”
“Hello Clara.”
“Are you alright.”
“Yes, thank you for asking.”
“Is it alright if I come home tonight?”
“No.”
“WHAT?”
“No Clara, you can’t come home. You decided you didn’t want to come home, and now you can’t. You can get your stuff and could you tell Shane the same thing, please. When your allowed back at school, you can come home but until then, your out.
“FINE! BYE MOTHER DEAREST! LOVE YOU TOO!”
“Goodbye Clara.”
I put the phone down.
“WHAT A F**KING ASS HOLE! I CAN’T F**KING BELIEVE SHE F**KING DID THAT TO ME!!”
“Calm down Babe. What happened?”
“MY OWN F**KING MOTHER KICKED ME OUT! IT’S F**KING S**T! I F**KING HATE HER! WHAT A F**KING BITCH!” I screamed.
“Calm down babe. You can stay with me. I’ll go with Shane to get your clothes and you just stay there with everyone else.”
“NO! I’m going home and getting my clothes. I ain’t living with her anymore. She is so gonna wish she never kicked me out!”
“Billy, can me and Shane stay at yours?” I didn’t want to ask but if we couldn’t I’d need to sort out where we would.
