Changbin's POV

It was now midnight. There's no way I could sleep though. Chan had called their manager shortly after it happened and their manager told them to call the doctor to find out what he recommends doing. The doctor told Chan over the phone that when Felix is feeling a bit better, he needs to go over to the hospital to have some tests done.

During the day, I have tried to stay by Felix's side as much as I could, but I wasn't the only one. Their manager was here for a few hours to find out if everyone was doing alright, Chan had been by Felix's side most of the day as well and the members would often come into the room and talk to Felix. Jae also came back and I left the room to talk to him whilst Chan stayed with Felix. Jae was a little confused but I filled him in the best I could and he had nodded and called our other friends to let them know.

Surprisingly, Sungjin offered to let some of the other members stay in their apartment next to mine and Jae's until Felix wakes up so that they aren't far away from Felix. Jisung, Hyunjin and Chan were all staying here along with me and Jae until Felix wakes up, and the others were going next door with Sungjin and Wonpil.

I sighed and watched Felix's chest rise and fall. Chan had gone into the other room to sleep. He had told me to do the same...but I just can't. Not when Felix is like this. Not when he is as weak as he is. If something happened I'm pretty sure I would be consumed by guilt.

So I sat there in my chair, leaning against the bed, watching Felix as he breathed in and out. He really did scare me back there. But it's weird. I've had a bit of time to think now and it just makes no sense:
If Felix is having side effects like this because of the disease, then why aren't I? Maybe it was because the disease was more harmful to him? Maybe it made his body react differently to mine.

I held my aching head for a moment, looking down at the bed. All the thoughts I have racing through my mind are making my head hurt. But no matter what I do, they won't go away. There's so many voices in my head right now and I'm trying to break away from them, but they are louder than ever. I hit my head on the bed and looked back up at Felix. I was planning on staying here all night. Nothing was going to change that.

(The next morning)

I was leaning back in my chair, staring straight at the wall in front of me when I noticed that Felix was now awake, and he started to sit up. I got up and helped him before sitting back down again after he told me that he was alright.

"You look tired." He said.

"I am." I quickly replied.

"Why?" He genuinely asked me.

"Because I couldn't sleep knowing that you could stop breathing again." I said looking down at the covers. It was then silent for a minute.

"I'm alright now, see!" Felix suddenly said. He moved closer to me and lifted my head up and I smiled tiredly. I just nodded.

"Felix, if you're feeling alright now we can take you to the hospital so they can run some tests to find out why that happened." I whispered but not too quietly. He sighed.

"I guess I should go." He pulled back the covers and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Hold on!" I said with wide eyes. I didn't want him overdoing it.

"Let me call Chan and we can take you to the hospital with your manager." I got up and walked out of the room and headed towards Chan's room. He was awake and fully clothed already. When I entered he looked up at me.

"Chan, he's awake. He agreed to go to the hospital now." I told him and Chan shot up and took out his phone, calling their manager. I left the room again and went back into my room which was where Felix was. He lifted his head up when I walked in. He was in proper pyjamas because we wanted to make sure that he stayed warm overnight.
