Changbin's POV
It has been a day since the hospital visit. I've spent today with my friends and like always, Jae was calling Young K, Brian. It makes us laugh every time. But now I'm sitting on my sofa wondering if Felix is alright. I can't stop thinking about him. I glanced at my phone a few times to see if I had any messages but then I gave up and sighed, letting my head flop back.
I looked over at my clock and I saw that it was only 8:00pm. They were all probably out of training for the day and now in their dorms unless some of them were planning on staying at the company much later. Chan had given me their address when Felix had collapsed so I was considering going and hanging out with them. I lifted my head up and took the slip of paper out of my pocket. I read it and stood up, grabbing my hoodie off the peg and putting it on.
"Hey Jae!?"
"Yeah!?"
"I'm going out. I'll probably be gone for a few hours. Don't wait up." I said.
"Alright. See you later!" I heard him say before I opened the door to our apartment and shut it behind me after I left.
It took me a little while to find where they were staying. I got lost a few times as well but when I eventually got there, I just stood outside of the door in silence. If I'm being honest, I actually felt a little nervous but I pushed that away and ignored it. I put the piece of paper back into my pocket and then I put my phone into the other.
I slowly lifted my hand to the door, and knocked on it. After waiting for a bit, Chan answered the door. His eyes widened when he saw me, but he then offered a suspicious smile. I returned the smile, but awkwardly.
"Come in!" He said and I did what he said. He shut the door behind me and then looked at me in silence, grinning.
"Um... is Felix here?" I asked quickly.
"Hm? Oh, yeah! He should be somewhere in the house. He's probably in the bathroom. You can wait in his room if you like." He finally said. He pointed to a door across the room before disappearing into the kitchen. I was a little confused as to what just happened but I shrugged it off and walked over to the door, opening it and walking in before turning around to shut it once more.
I took a few more steps and then looked up. My cheeks immediately turned red when my eyes landed on a shirtless Felix who was now staring at me. I couldn't stop looking until he cleared his throat and that snapped me out of it. I quickly looked away, trying to avoid eye contact. I heard a small chuckle and that's when I realised that he wasn't putting a shirt back on.
"Like what you see?" He asked, cockily. I took the risk of looking back up. My eyes met with his.
"Yah! Shut up!" I quickly replied and I was then greeted with a small bit of laughter. I rolled my eyes and coughed once but my cheeks remained red. I attempted to walk forward but I didn't look down and like an idiot, I tripped over a charging cable on the floor and fell forwards. I closed my eyes but I soon realised that my head was against something. I could also feel arms around me, stopping me from falling any further. I could hear a steady heartbeat as well, although I wasn't sure if it was mine or not.
When I opened my eyes, I realised that Felix had caught me and I was now leaning against his bare chest. My cheeks did the impossible: turning even redder. I went to stand up but he wouldn't let me go. He pulled me into a hug and it shocked me at first and then I hugged him back. Being in his arms made me feel safe but I also realised that I am falling for him. But I'm ruining his chances of finding the one person he is meant to love, and right now I'm feeling extremely jealous of that person.
I didn't want to let go of him yet. Not now, and not ever really even though I probably would have to. But of course, the moment just had to be interrupted. Chan burst through the door with a glass of water and then I heard a squeal and then the sound of a picture being taken on a phone. Me and Felix quickly moved apart, standing there awkwardly.
"I was just-"
"Yeah and I was-"
"Mhm, and then-"
"Yeah so after that-"
"And then this-"
"And then I-"
It was chaotic as me and Felix tried to explain to Chan what was going on. We were making excuses and we ended up talking over eachother. Chan, however, did not look like he believed us but I could see that he was smiling widely and mischievously. I cleared my throat and quickly spoke."Yeah, um, Felix, I'll be- um- I'll just leave so that you can put a shirt on." I rubbed the back of my neck and then hurried out of the room, Chan following me. When I sat down on their sofa, he sat down beside me, giving me a weird smirk. He wiggled his eyebrows at me and I blushed, sinking down into the couch, covering my face with a cushion. I remembered back to the room and it made me blush even more. Then I remembered his heartbeat. Hearing it made me happy. I was happy to know that he was alive.
