Felix's POV

I closed my eyes and soaked up the warmth of the sun. It was good to be back. Back home. Back in Australia.

I felt an arm around my shoulders and I looked over to see Chan smiling at me so I grinned back and I couldn't help but laugh a little. I knew what he was feeling. The joy and happiness to be back here. Chan was clearly excited since neither of us had been back to Australia in such a long time.

"It's good to be back, ey Felix" Chan said, dropping his arm to his side and taking in a deep breath. I nodded in response.

"It really is." I replied, turning my head and glancing at the others. My eyes landed on Changbin who was looking around with his hands in his pockets.

"Chan?" I whispered, leaning towards his ear.

"What's up?" He then answered.

"Today. I'll do it today. Where I said I would do it." I whispered so that no one apart from Chan could hear. When I moved away from him, I could see that he was grinning widely. I felt my cheeks heat up ever so slightly, but I ignored it and cleared my throat before turning to face the others with Chan.

"Hotel first then beach???" Chan asked, watching as everyone began to get excited and hyper. It made me laugh. But then I noticed that Changbin wasn't jumping all over the place like the others and was instead just looking at me with warmth in his eyes and a smile on his face. I smiled back and looked at my feet for a moment before glancing back up at him. Today was the day, and there's no way I'm turning back now.

(Roughly 3 hours later)

It was late afternoon, but everyone still wanted to go to the beach, so we did. Now I'm sitting on a beach towel in the sand watching as the others play in the sea apart from Chan who's grabbing something for me.

After a while, I felt someone tap my shoulder and my stomach flipped. I stood up and gulped, biting the inside of my lip and taking shaky breaths. I nodded at the boy and he handed me a small box. More specifically, the box I purposefully left in the hotel room so that no one else saw it on the way to the beach.

"You'll be fine. Go get 'em tiger!" Chan said, rubbing my back.

"Don't ever say that again" I replied, faking a disgusted face which caused the older boy to chuckle.

I took a deep breath and put on my hoodie before walking up the beach and onto the pavement. I shoved the box in my pocket and took a deep breath, recomposing and mentally preparing myself. I then continued along the path even as the incline increased a little, but eventually the concrete ended, and yet I kept on going.

After a while, I stopped walking and looked out across the sea. The sun was setting and the sky became a beautiful mix of shades of pink, orange and red. I smiled slightly. The view from the cliff really could take your breath away. I sat down and looked out across the vast body of water. It may be a while before Changbin gets here and I don't want to waste a single second.

Changbin's POV

I turned around to look at Felix on the beach, but he wasn't there. Instead, Chan was sitting on the beach towel Felix had previously been on and that made me wonder where Felix had gone. I ran over to Chan and stopped a few inches to the side of him.

"Where's Felix?" I asked, knowing that he most likely saw where Felix had gone.

"He went up to the cliff to do some thinking. He said he wouldn't mind company, but I did only just get here so I decided to stay on the beach." Chan answered, looking up at me with a grin on his face. He had a sort of mischievous glint in his eyes, but I couldn't quite understand why.
