It's six thirty in the morning and my alarm goes off. I look up to see Isabelle, already dressed and ready for the first day of classes. Leila is still asleep and I notice Ava and Chloe are just waking up from their alarms as well.
"Good morning girls", Avalon greets us.
Chloe and I both say it back in unison while we start getting out of bed. Each of us start picking out our clothes and I decide to break the silence.
"Isn't Leila gonna get up?"
"She always has her clothes picked out for the week, so the time she'd spend looking for clothes, she uses it to sleep." Chloe seems like Leila is the last person she wants to be talking about right now.
"Plus she has her own personal chef because she thinks she's too good for the food here", Avalon adds. "So there's no need to rush to purchase breakfast."

Chloe, Avalon and I are back in our room about to do our hair when I notice that Leila is up and has already done her hair in a perfect high ponytail, with her curls still looking picture perfect. I'd expect her to be the type to get up early to get her hair and makeup done, but she somehow doesn't have a lot to do since she naturally looks so perfect.
"Good morning River darling. I'll go take a shower and get dressed before we head out for breakfast", she says so sweetly before closing the room door on her way out.
"I thought you were having breakfast with us?", Avalon asks.
"I thought so too."
"Well it's your choice though", Chloe says.
By the time we're finish doing our hair, Leila is back and looking like a model about to go on the runway.
"Ready to go?", Leila asks.
I look from Avalon and Chloe to Leila, and notice they're all awaiting my response.
"I'm so sorry Leila. You didn't give me a chance to respond earlier. I already have plans with Avalon and Chloe."
She looks so disappointed, I feel bad and almost change my mind, but then she suddenly answers and says, "Well we're having lunch at 12 sweetie. I'll see you later, best friend." She leaves before I can even answer.
"Wow! Ava did you see that?", Chloe asks.
"Yeah. That's the first Leila's been rejected and not throw a tantrum."
I ignore their recent comments and ask if they're ready and we head on out downstairs.

"I have to wait on my sister", Avalon says, as we reach downstairs and stop by Tina, the receptionist who I met when I just got here.
"Good morning girls", she says with that smile that greeted me on the first day.
"Good morning we all respond."
Soon after I see three younger girls coming towards us. They stop and say good morning to us and we do the same.
"Riv, this is my little sister Remedy, and her friends Autumn and Summer Winter. Remy, Autie and Summer, this is my new roommate River."
"Nice to meet you", Autie says.
"Welcome to the Academy", Summer adds.
"OMG! I'm so in love with your name. Well I love mine more, but still, your name sounds so cool . We both have R names", Remy beams with excitement.
"Nice to meet you girls", I say.
Ava and Remy talk for a while, then we go our separate ways.

We soon arrive at a café that's much smaller than the one previous to this. The sign says Breakfast and More. We head inside and the only people inside are their friends from last night. I end up sitting beside one of the twins, but I have no idea which one.
"Ready for your first day?", the twin I'm beside asks.
"More than I'll ever be", I smile back.
We order breakfast and everyone else has a big group discussion, while the twin and I continue to talk.
"I hope we end up in the same group when we're assigned today."
"Aren't you guys already assigned groups from last term?"
"Let me explain how it works here", he gives this sexy smile. "We're placed in groups for the first term, and based on our progress throughout that term, we're evaluated and then the different dance groups are formed. Didn't they explain this to you when you got accepted?" He manages to look even cuter with this puzzled look on his face.
"Actually they didn't. In my case, what will they do, since I'm new here?"
"Well you'll have to introduce yourself in front of the entire year group and do an improv to whatever song they choose then they'll use that, plus your audition to the school, to place you on a team."
"So how does this whole team thing work?"
"Well our set is the Senior B group and is divided into Senior B1 and Senior B2. B2 is the group with the weakest set of dancers. It doesn't mean they're not great, they're just not as advanced as the rest. The top ten dancers however, get placed in Senior B Elites. They get to go to competitions along with classes while everyone else just have regular classes and prepare for the end of year recital."
"Thanks for explaining that to me."
"Any time", he looks at me with those dreamy eyes of his.
We eat our food in silence and then head over to the auditorium for our Welcome Back, assembly.
