"Girl I'm about ready to just drop out and become a model or something I'm at my wits end with this semester." Shyann stated with some level of truthfulness.

To be honest, junior year thus far had to be the toughest year yet. We were swamped with classes and preparing for our last two final exams before the summer break.

She was right though, Harvard had all the students with brains but few with true beauty. Not to sound like a snob but we were the cream of the crop here on campus.

*Knock knock*

"Hey you guys ready to go" Brad said from the doorway.

Brad was Shyann's boyfriend of this school year. I say that with all acknowledgment that my girl dropped them as quick as she picked them. Brad was her fourth relationship in the three years we've been here. Now I'm not judging, but it's been like a personal mission of hers to date all the cutest guys in school or something. Got to give it to her though, her confidence is something to admire. Here I am a junior and I never even been on a date with a guy... Well there was this one time.....

****flashback to freshman year****

"Excuse me, Paisley right?"

I looked up and there standing in front of me was Drew Phillips, one of the hottest guys in school.

Was he talking to me? I had to ask myself. I must've had the dumbest look on my face. Why would he be talking to me?

"Y-yeah um yes it is."

He smiled a smile that'll make any girl lose themselves. I almost fell into the Drew trap myself. It was no secret he had his fair share of flings on campus. But I've never heard anything bad about him.

"Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to study together for the corporate law exam. See I'm well aware that you find this particular law easy but for me it's utterly boring and I can't retain any of the information on my own." He admittedly laughed at himself.

I couldn't believe Drew was asking me to help him prep for the exam. I mean it wasn't the first time someone asked but coming from Drew? I didn't even know he knew I existed.

"Um sure." I smiled back at him with a confused but eager expression.

I usually didn't get like this over any guys but being away from home allowed me to be more open than usual. It felt good.

"I didn't even know you knew my name honestly so sorry if I seem a bit surprised." I admitted.

One thing about me, I was always completely honest about my thoughts. Something I've grown a habit of.

"Nah sweetie, I know exactly who you are." He said lowering his eyes scanning over me all while licking his bottom lip simultaneously.

I must admit, the way his eyes were soaking in my every being, it made me a bit uncomfortable. I was about to talk myself out of it and tell him I couldn't help him sorry, but he spoke before I could utter my next word.

"Listen, I know your not into dating anyone or befriending anyone in that matter, but I just really want to pick your brain a little. Have a real conversation, see what you are about and what you like. Anddddd prep for this exam because I do need the help seriously." He laughed at his self again.

"Don't worry, I won't make it uncomfortable. I promise."

He said that last statement as if he had something else in mind.

"Paisley, you have to let your guard down some day. This is why you came so far away. To start over. It's time to start."  I encourage myself.

"Ok. But, I won't come to your dorm room and I don't think it's appropriate if you come to mine. How about we meet at a cafe or something near by.
