(Haley's point of view)
Today is the day I'm telling my best friend how much I love him. How much he truly means to me. How much I care for him. I've been told by almost everyone that he feels the same, so I've managed to get enough confidence to tell him.
I knock on the front door, hoping he's here. Ponyboy is at school and Darey is working. So he is home alone. Steve told me he didn't have to work today.
"One second." He yells through the door. I hear him fall over something and groan before mumbling a few curse words.
I decide to go inside to see what he did. I nearly fall over laughing. He fell over the dining room table. He was laying on the floor holding his knee.
"Hey, Hal." He mumbles embarrassed.
"Soda you are such a clutz." I walk over to him and help him up.

Oh no. This is bad. He doesn't feel the same way. They lied to me. Those jerks. I'll get them back later.
"What?" His voice is soft and unbelieving.

I immediately kiss back, wrapping my arms around his neck. Our lips move in sync before he licks my lips asking for entrance. I open letting him in. He takes over immediately.
His tongue dances with mine in our heated make out session. I moan into his mouth. I've been kissed but never like this. He does things with his tongue no guy has ever done with me before.
