Homo= gay
Phobia= fear
So yeah that's it-
Okay, seriously though, if I were to describe homophobia I would say it's people who are afraid of change and new things that they don't understand (such as; gay marriage, LGBTQ+ equality, etc). Believe it or not, change happens! Why fight a useless fight if we're gonna be living amongst each other for centuries upon centuries? Homophobes, transphobes, biphobes, etc, you don't need to be scared because the LGBTQ+ Community is not a scary thing and you don't have to be apart of it. No one is forcing you to change your sexuality, we literally believe that love is love. What the homophobes should be scared of is grammar— most homophobes I've met have terrible grammar so you might wanna fix that before you attempt to "fix" anything else.
