Harry wakes with a large headache. He almost wishes he was still asleep, until he remembers something.

Harry slowly opens his eyes. When no sharp bites of pain come, he lifts his head up.

On a bed next to him, Malfoy is sitting up. There is a bandage covering her forehead. Harry notices red underneath the bandages.

"Malfoy." He says. Draco turns to look at him. A glare transforms his face.

"Bad news, Potter." Malfoy says. "We're not getting expelled."

"That's bad news?" Harry asks, very surprised. Malfoy nods.

"When do we get out of here?" He asks. Draco gives his a small shrug.

Madam Pomfrey finally had agreed to let Harry and Draco go. They left the very second they had permission.

Hermione was waiting outside. Her hair bounced as she ran to hug Harry.

"Are you okay Harry?" She asks. Harry gives her a reassuring smile.

"I'm great. Don't tell me how much homework I missed just yet." He says. Draco is packing up some books beside the bed.

"Let's go." Harry impatiently says. Hermione nods in agreement.

When they reach halfway through the hall, Harry feels a kind of straining. Each step he takes is more painful. He keeps moving slower and slower. A cry echoes throughout the hallway. When it reaches his ears, Harry lets out a scream of his throat.

Blinding pain numbs his senses. He feels a blur of movement, and people moving around him.

The pain fades away. Harry opens his eyes to see Madam Pomfrey sitting down, watching them both.

"Mister Potter, a word." Madam Pomfrey says.
