"What!?" Harry cries out in horror.

"Mr Malfoy already knows. I have discussed this with him already." Madam Pomfrey tells him.

"We are in different houses! How are we supposed to figure out which dormitory to sleep in?" Harry asks.

"Headmaster McGonagall already knows about your situation, and has set up a private dormitory and adjoined classes. I'm afraid you and Mister Malfoy will have to sort everything else out." Explains Madam Pomfrey. The information immediately sets Harry into a bad mood.

After unpacking their bags, Harry sat on the edge of his bed. Draco sat on the other bed.

"Listen, Malfoy. We're stuck together until McGonagall can get us apart. We might as well try to get along." Harry says, not wanting the time to go slower than they already would.

"I know you think you're a big deal, Potter, but you're not as great as you think." Malfoy snaps, turning his head away.

"You wanna know something, Malfoy? I never wanted to be the boy of destiny. If I could choose between fame or family, I'd choose family every time. You don't know how lucky you are to still have a mother." Harry barks back angrily. Draco looks away, clearly feeling awkward.

"Potter, I... I want to thank you." He says.

"For what?" Harry asks, confused and uncertain.

"In the Room of Requirement. You saved me from the fire. I never thanked you." Draco says, with a small blush on his cheeks.
