Draco's POV

Everyone is laughing. Draco's ears ring as the sound fills them. It's almost... Painful.

Y-you better not be planning a rescue, P-potter.

"Well, well, well. My son thinks he's tough. Another round?" He announces. All the watching Death Eaters roar their approval. Draco swallows.

"Crucio!" The voice yells out. Pain lashes through his body. It feels electric, and it stings.

Why did this happen just when he was nearly happy.

P-potter... In case I d-die-

Draco is shocked at the immediate voice. He nearly gasps out loud.

I-i just want you to know that I love you, Potter. Y-you're not bad, not bad at all.

Draco lets his body weaken as the spell leaves his system.

I-I'm tired, Potter. I don't think I'll see you again.

Draco can feel fury pulse through from Harry.

I will see you again, Draco. I won't let my boyfriend die.

Draco feels a glow of happiness inside himself, through the pain and despair.

The only thing I love more than that idea is you.

I'll take you on our first date after I free you, Draco.

No. It's a trap, it's too dangerous. Stay away, Harry.

"Given up yet, Draco?" His father's taunt reaches his ears.

"N-no." He stutters out.

"Such... Rude manners will have to be dealt with." His father replies, a bored tone appearing in his voice.

Draco doesn't care about the consequences, because he finally can call Harry Potter his boyfriend.
