After a while, Marc poked his head out of his room and scanned around to make sure Evillustrator is gone. Though he knew he was right to reject dinner with an Akuma, he was feeling so hungry. Then he slipped out and made his way down to the kitchen, where he found Lady WiFi, Chat Blanc, and The Bubbler. Soon, the Bubbler noticed Marc in the kitchen and began reaching for his magic bubble wand behind him, when Lady WiFi stopped him.
"Don't you dare," she chided him.
The Bubbler stuttered, "but-but have you forgotten what the master said..."
Marc took a step back and blushed in embarrassment as he explained, "I'm sorry if I'm intruding, but I'm hungry."
"It's fine," Chat Blanc smiled reassuringly. "Let us get you something to eat."
The Bubbler sighed, "alright, just get a bit of cheese and a small loaf of bread and then head back to your room."
Lady WiFi shook her head, "oh please, we could do so much better than that. After all, it has been a while since we served someone other than Evillustrator.
Chat Blanc chimed in, "yeah, he's our guest and we have to make him feel welcome here. Right this way, Monsieur."
Chat Blanc placed one arm over Marc, leading him into the dining room. The Bubbler watched in horror, knowing what disobeying the master's orders could mean for them.
"Keep it down, if Evillustrator found out about this, it will be on our necks."
The white cat Akuma just rolled his eyes, "Yeah, yeah, of course. But what is a meal without a little... music."
"Music?!"
Bubbler ran out after them only to see Marc, already seated on a chair, but Chat Blanc was nowhere in sight. Just then, the lights darkened and a spotlight shone on the white cat, who was standing on the table.
"Ma chère Monsieur," he said, taking a bow. "It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you tonight. So sit back, as the dining room presents... Your dinner!"
Chat Blanc began to a classical song. As he did, all the Akuma servants came out with rows and rows of dishes made by Chef Kung Food. The Bubbler somehow got caught up with the choreography and was soon on the table with Chat Blanc. Marc seemed impressed with the show as well as the food, he especially likes the grey chocolate mousse. Soon the show ended as Chat Blanc struck a fierce pose with a few colorful explosions and other special effects courtesy of Lady WiFi.
After Marc thanked them for the delicious meal, both the Bubbler and Chat Blanc escorted him back to his room. To ease his curiosity, Marc wanted to ask them a question. Ever since Evillustrator mentioned it, he had not been able to stop thinking about the West Wing. He was very curious about what mysteries it could hold.
"Why, of course," Chat Blanc looked at The Bubbler smugly with the latter rolling his eyes.
Marc asked, "what is Evillustrator hiding in the West Wing?"
Chat Blanc and Bubbler stopped their little fit and stared at Marc in complete shock and horror.
Bubbler stuttered, nervously. "Well, he...it..."
"There is nothing in there worth mentioning," Chat Blanc intercepted.
Marc seemed unconvinced, so the two Akumas tried whatever they could to persuade him not to explore the West Wing.
"We only use that as a storage closet..."
"There are many other places you could explore..."
"Yeah, like the... the kitchen, the fireplace, the library..."
Marc suddenly perked up and turned to them, "you have a LIBRARY!"
"Yes we do," Chat Blanc smiled. "But that is for tomorrow maybe."
Marc nodded silently. Chat Blanc and Bubbler left him on his own, now that they succeed in convincing Marc not going into the West Wing... At least that's what they thought.
