As soon as Marc entered his house, he immediately called out for his sister and looked around for her. When she heard him, Marinette came out and was surprised to see Marc. The two siblings ran to and embraced each other for a while before Marinette began to question Marc.

Marinette asked Marc, "How did you escape the castle or the Akuma?"

"I didn't," Marc replied, smiling. "He let me go." This left Marinette astounded. It seemed so unbelievable that after all the time Marc had been away, the Akuma would just allow him to leave. But before Marinette had the chance to question it, they heard a knock on the door. Marc pulled away from his sister, opened the door, and was shocked to see the entire village waiting outside. Chloe stepped forward, smirking maliciously.

Marc asked, glaring at the blonde, "What is going on, Chloe?"

"Nothing much, really, just need to take care of her!" Chloe pointed at a confused and frightened Marinette. "She seemed to be going crazy, going all around and claiming an 'Akuma' was holding you captive."

Just as Marc was about to run to comfort her, Chloe pulled him back.

Chloe said in faked concern, "But perhaps, we can work out a little deal."

But Marc only pulled away and exclaimed in desperation, "My sister is not crazy, there is an Akuma and I-I can prove it!"

Marc frantically searched his bag and pulled out the magic mirror Evillustrator had given him. He guessed that in his quick attempt to get back home, he must've accidentally taken it and he was glad he did. He quickly asked for it to show the Akuma, and turned it around as it displayed Evillustrator. Everyone gasped in horror as they saw the Akuma let out a terrifying roar.

"It's a monster!" Someone from the crowd yelled.

"You're right," someone else agreed.

"No, you're wrong," Marc protested. "He's called Evillustrator, I know he looks scary, but he isn't. He is sweet, gentle, kind...."

Chloe could see what was going on between Marc and the Akuma, and quickly interfered, "This Akuma... It is a beast! He must be killed before he could kill us!"

"No, you can't--" Marc tried to dissent.

But Sabrina, acting on Chole's orders, shoved him and Marinette back into their house and blocked the door, so they couldn't escape. Marc banged on the door in vain, but he could hear Chole, giving orders to the entire village about killing the 'monstrous' Akuma. Then he heard them head to the castle, possibly armed with weapons and torches. Marc fell onto the floor, feeling so guilty that his friend is going to be murdered all because of him. Marinette held her brother close in an attempt to comfort him. Just as hope seemed lost, the door suddenly opened. Both siblings looked up and smiled in relief when they saw Timebreaker, standing by the door and grinning at them.

Timebreaker explained that after she heard Marc had left, she sneaked out and followed him to the village. She had hidden when she saw them a mob being formed, she came to their rescue once they had left. Aware of what could happen, Marc got on Tikki with Marinette and Timebreaker and rode off to the castle as fast as they could. Meanwhile, after Timebreaker had left, everyone was looking for her until Chat Blanc noticed something from one of the windows. It was the village mob! He quickly informed the rest of the Akumas to get ready to attack, before scurrying off to Evillustrator's room, where the redhead was sulking in front of the magic pen and watching its glow fading.

"Nath, we have a situation," Chat Blanc explained. "There's an angry mob of villagers heading this way."

Evillustrator faced him with a saddened expression and sighed, "Do what you must, I couldn't care any less."

Then he turned his attention back to the pen. Chat Blanc only closed the door and went back downstairs, to find the others in their hiding spots. He hid away from sight when the main door opened and the villagers entered. As soon as they all were inside, Chat Blanc shouted the signal and everyone went into attack mode. All the Akumas used their powers to get the villagers out of the castle. Chat Blanc used his cataclysm, the bubbler used his magic bubble wand, Lady WiFi used her phone to freeze and teleport, and Silencer just unexpectedly popped in and out to give his attacks.

One of the villagers had grabbed Lady WiFi by surprise. He was holding her hostage when all of a sudden, he was trapped in a bubble leading him out. When the bubble popped, he screamed as he ran away. Lady WiFi looked and saw Bubbler smirking at her, with his hand out to help her. She gladly took it and kiss her hero on the cheek, before carrying on the fight. At the same time, Chat Blanc was trying to get rid of the invaders on his own. While he was distracted, a villager crept up behind him and had him cornered. Just before he could attack, he felt a sharp pain and sprinted for the exit. Hearing him scream, Chat Blanc turned around and saw Marinette, smiling at him with a sword in her hand. They had made it.

"Need a hand kitty?" She asked as the two-faced back to back.

Chat Blanc smirked back and joked, "M'lady, your timing could not have been more paw-some."

They continued to fend off the villagers, as did everyone else. While everyone was distracted, Chole picked up one of the castle spears off the castle wall, went upstairs and to the West Wing. There, she found Evillustrator in his most vulnerable state. She fired her attack, determined to kill the Akuma. Evillustrator did not do much to defend himself, he just tried to get away from her. Chole smirked as she taunted him.

"What's wrong, Evillustrator, too weak to fight back."

Evillustrator knew she was right, now he was too weak to fight back, no wonder Marc left. When he almost felt like it was the end, there was a familiar voice was heard.

"Nathaniel, I'm here!"
