Chapter 8

| Sabrina POV |

Me and Jasper were walking down the sidewalk to a nearby coffee shop, we were just walking in silence it wasn't an awkward silence but instead a comfortable one, as we were just walking I realize how peaceful it was outside but I didn't get to enjoy it for long seeing as we already made it to the coffee shop.

Once we enter the shop there was a barista waiting at the front, she had seen us enter but I could tell she was eyeing Jasper and for some reason that made me feel uncomfortable, and out of pure instinct I moved closer to him.

Why I did that I have no clue but what's done is done, I could see Jasper looking at me from the corner of my eye but I didn't make eye contact with him as we went to the front of the cashier.

The barista then spoke " what can I get you today~" I could tell that it was mainly towards Jasper and it seem like she didn't even notice me but for some reason Jasper turned to me and asked " what would you like Darliñ?" And him just saying that made me flustered and I told him that I'd like to have a green tea but we both argued who is going to pay but for some reason he won.

The barista seem to not like him ignoring her so she start adjusting her chest to make it look bigger but Jasper just kept ignoring her and paying attention to me which made me feel quite smug towards the barista.

Finally after giving our orders to the barista we got them and went to go sit down at a table, I could tell that she was severely upset that she didn't get jaspers attention but I was quite glad that she didn't.

Moving my attention elsewhere I had seen Jasper looking at me?, I then questioned" is there something on my face?" He gave me that damn charming smile again saying " if you mean your beautiful eyes and lovely smile than yes there is~" I could tell instantly that he was flirting with me and it made me quite embarrassed.

I then stuttered out " O-Oh is that so?" I gave him a nervous smile before looking down at the table, I then thought to myself ' why am I acting like a nervous schoolgirl talking to her crush!?, i'm a freaking 25-year-old woman act your age Sabrina!' I then straightened up and looked at Jasper and asked " so what is it you wanted to talk about?".

Jasper took a sip of his black coffee and seem to be in thought but then he finally spoke " Well, can't I take a beautiful woman out for some coffee?" I looked at him for a second and could tell that he was dead serious.

I looked at him a little while longer before say " Jasper I don't think it appropriate to hang out with me......I am your teacher after all" Jasper stared at me with a stern look and spoke " I clearly don't see the problem here, you're just a young woman I met at a car dealership that I want to take out for coffee, you're not my teacher outside of school" I was shocked because he was correct I wasn't his teacher outside of school, unless he address me as a teacher.

It was very odd to have such a good looking young man address me for just being a woman, because most people would address me by my last name for being a teacher or the captain of my military team so it was very weird but nice in a way.

I tried to play it off cool by being more stern and trying not to seem like I was happy by what he previously said" W-Well in hindsight I am t-technically still your teacher, so I would a-appreciate it if you treated me like it" Jasper must have seen right throw my little lie and just smiled at me.

He said " now Darlin~, there ain't nothing wrong with us hang out and talking like this or are you thinking of something else~" he then gave me a devilish smirk like he knew what I was feeling.

I could feel my face getting redder by the minute it felt like I was suffocating so I said " is-is it me or are you to hot for h-here" But once I understand my mistake I couldn't fix it because he already spoke " oh no Darlin, I think you the one who's to hot for here~" I was so embarrassed I just placed my head in my hands trying to gather my thoughts while silently screaming to myself.

But as I was thinking I felt two delicate but firm cold hands grab my wrists pulling my hands away from my face and I could see Jasper as he spoke " now Darlin, don't hide that pretty face of yours~, I love seeing you smile and blush~".

But before Anything else could be said my phone buzzed and a text message appeared,

Bella-boo❤️ : Hey I am by my truck waiting for you, are you coming?

Brie🥰 : Yes I am on my way just went to to a nearby coffee shop be there in 10😘

And with that I closed my phone and said " I'm sorry to cut this short but it seems like my sister is waiting for me, I guess I'll see you at school?" Jasper looked at me with a sad look and said " fine, but I hope we can do this again some time Darlin?" I looked at him with a smile and said " maybe~" and with that I was out the door of the coffee shop and heading towards the dealership.

| 10 minutes later |

There was Bella parked by my BMW waiting for me in her truck, when she saw me she smiled and rolled down her window as I came up beside her, she then spoke " Hey!, what took you so long to get here?".

I tried coming up with a quick excuse so I said " I met a old friend at the shop and we just got talking, sorry I took so long!" Bella seem to have excepted my lie and just smiled at me, as I went into my BMW and we started driving home.
