Chapter 35

Me and dad were sitting at the table, Dad was drinking a beer while cleaning out his rifle and I was just eating a sandwich, I was waiting for shit to hit the fan, now you may be wondering what's about to happen well Bella got asked out to go on a 'date' with Edward and will I wanted to see what was going to happen because me being me thought eating a sandwich at the table was sneaky enough to secretly watch.

Bella being a smart decided to butter up dad by bringing him another beer, and right as he thanked her she blurted out " I have a date with Edward Cullen" I put my hand up to my mouth quietly saying " oh shit!" She looked at me with the 'shut the fuck up' look and all I did was smile!.

Dad then said " he's a little old for you, isn't it?" I looked at Bella and said " Yeah Bella~, isn't he a little OLD for you???" She looked at me with a glare and said " no. He's a junior, I'm a junior!" There was a quiet pause before she spoke again " I thought you like the Cullens?" Then dad very smartly said " I thought you didn't like any of the boys in town?".

I let out a quiet 'ohhhhh' Bella look at me again and put her thumb under her neck making a slicing movement telling me she'd kill me if I said anything else, but again I just looked at her innocently.

She then said awkwardly " Edward doesn't live in town, technically" again another pause of silence and all you could hear was me munching down on my sandwich watching them intensely, Bella than popped the big question" He's right outside" dad look behind him towards the front door saying " he is?" I gave a quiet snort before Bella continued " yeah, he wanted to meet you, officially".

Dad looked up at Bella before loading his rifle and making a clicking sound while saying " all right. Bring him in" Bella then got up startled after seeing dad do that and she said out of nervousness " could you be nice? He's... He's important." Dad made the gesture of a halo going around his head and then she looked at me as I am trying my best not to burst out laughing, she give me a pointed look and instead of putting a halo above my head I made two devil horns and she just shook her head before walking towards the front door.

Bella the went around the corner and grabbed a hold of Edwards arm bring him in front of dad, Edward then said " Chief Swan, I want to formally introduce myself. I'm Edward Cullen" A little snort before whispering under my breath " dude!, act like a teenager that's way too formal!" Edward to the glance at me before relaxing a little bit because of my humour.

Dad greeted Edward as kindly as he could as Edward continue to speak " Bella won't be out too late tonight she's just gonna play baseball with me and my family" this time I let a huge snort before ducking under the table to stay away from there stares, dad chuckled before saying  " baseball, Bella going to play baseball. Good luck with that!" Again I started laughing from under the table and Bella walked over to where I was hiding and kicked me I let out a yelp "ow!".

Then It seem like Edward remembered something as he said " my family would also appreciate if Sabrina could come along as well seeing as Bella would be most comfortable with her there, If that's all right with you Chief Swan" dad looked at me from where I'm sitting under the table and then look back at Edward " I think you have a better chance of playing baseball with her than with Bella" he looked at me if I wanted to go and I sprung up from behind the table and said " of course I'll go if it means seeing Bella fall!" And with that I went towards the door to grab my jacket.

I could hear them having a small conversation as I left and when Bella was about to leave I heard dad whispered to her " you still got that pepper spray?" Bella let out a embarrassed yeah and started making her way to the door.

Once we reach the baseball field Edward started leading us towards where everybody else was, I could see Carlisle and Rosalie fooling around with the bat and Jasper was taking practice swings, he then looked up at me and gave me a wink well I smiled at him.
