Chapter 28

| Sabrina's POV |

As we are driving deeper and deeper into the forest I could see Jasper getting more tense by the second so I decided to start up a little conversation " Jasper, you seem a little tense is everything all right?" Jasper stayed quiet for a little longer before speaking up " I'm fine, just nervous for you to meet my family".

I knew that wasn't what he wanted to say but I didn't want to force him to talk about it so I decided to change the subject " do you think they will like me?" Jasper looked at me with a smile and said " of course, what's not to like about you" suddenly a heard a voice in my head ' ThAt yOuR A MoNsTEr SaBriNa, ThEy WeLl DeSpIsE yOu' fear started to crawl through my stomach.

Jasper looked at me with worry but I only gave him a sad smile while thinking ' the voice is right.... they will hate me the minute they find out what I am'  suddenly I felt Jaspers thumb rubbing my knuckles, he looked at me with a loving smile and while he spoke " Sabrina, there's nothing to worry about....I swear to you whenever you're thinking about it won't change the way I look at you"  I only nodded my head still not completely convinced.

As we continued our way there I could see a very beautiful house coming into view and when I got a good look at it my mouth was wide open, I was awestruck by how beautiful jaspers family house was, I never knew his mom took exterior design so seriously.

As we both stepped out of the car all I could breathe out was " wow..." Jasper gave a small chuckle as he walked up beside me, he looked at me while leaning down and whispering in my ear " my mother takes this very seriously she likes to impress" I looked at him and said " I can tell, hehe i'm kind of nervous to go inside now hearing that I might accidentally break something....." all he does is chuckle while grabbing my hand and leading me up towards the door.

As we started walking to the door I could hear noises from inside like cooking so I suspected that they were preparing for dinner, as Jasper open the door for me I thanked him and walked in, he then helped me take my jacket off and laid it right beside what I assume was Edward and Bella's jacket.

We started making our way up the stairs and just before we went in I stopped him and said " are you sure about this?, your parents and the others are are going to properly meet me as your girlfriend and I'm much older than you so I don't want them to look at you differently" Jasper gave me a reassuring smile while putting his hands on my shoulder giving them a light squeeze as he spoke " Sabrina, I am more then sure of this, I wouldn't bring you here if I wasn't".

It took me a bit of time to reassure myself that it was going to be ok and after deep breath we walked in, I was immediately greeted with a hug by Alice and a calm smile from Sean, Alice then squealed " FINALLY!, I have been waiting for you guys to date for so long! I'm going to dress you in so many cute outfits!!" And with that I was dragged into the small living room/kitchen area while Sean and Jasper walked behind us.

I could hear Jasper sigh in the background and a small patting noise which I would assume was Sean patting his shoulder but I didn't really understand why, is it that bad to get dressed up by Alice?, as we made it to the kitchen I was immediately hit with a delicious smell of some type of pasta and I could feel my stomach grumbling.

I heard Alice give a small giggle before saying " seems like you're hungry huh!" I looked at her embarrassed while saying " hehe yeah, I haven't really ate anything today cause I wanted to save my appetite for the dinner!" I heard a motherly chuckle come from behind me and when I turned around I had seen a woman who I would assume was Esme the one I met in the hospital.

I was even more embarrassed because I was meeting his mother properly as his girlfriend and I didn't want to embarrass myself in front of her, she gave me a bright smile as she spoke " hello Sabrina, it's so wonderful to finally meet you even though I saw you in the hospital this feels like a proper greeting" I gave her a kind smile back and said " yes, I must say I rather meet you like this then in a hospital bed with an injury".

She gave another lighthearted laugh while saying " well you did give us all quite the scare when you were hit but I can see you are doing much better!" I nodded my head swiftly before saying " I must say Mrs.Cullen, the food smell delicious!" Mrs.Cullen looked at me and said " Oh why thank you and please call me Esme!, you're family now!" I could hear Jasper choking in the background but I didn't understand why and I was really confused on what that meant?.

I looked back at Jasper and seen he was very embarrassed and wouldn't even meet my eyes, I tilted my head innocently trying to ask him what that meant and for some reason whenever I tilt my head it always seems to be a weakness for him because I could see him struggling to not jump on me by the way he was looking at me.

Soon I heard booming Laughter coming from the other room and Rosalie and Emmett entered from some where else, Rosalie had a smile on her face while Emmett was wiggling his eyebrows at Jasper and by the time I was going to ask why Emmett was doing that Jasper grabbed my hand and said " we're going to my room!" And with that we were gone.

I heard Esme yell " i'll call you when dinner's ready!" and that's all I heard as we went through the house and up some flight of stairs, as we were walking up a the stairs I had seen a bunch of graduation caps lined up on the wall so I turn to Jasper and said " what's with all the graduation caps?" Jasper tensed up for a second until he said " that's generation of graduation caps from my family bloodline" I didn't fully believe that but I just nodded my head and went with it.

When we finally made it to a room that looked very cosy it had a king size bed in the middle and a wall Full of shelves that were dedicated to history books and journals and it even had a desk in between them, I was so distracted by the beauty of the room that I didn't realize Jasper leading me to his king-size bed.

As we made it to the bed I could tell there was something Jasper wanted to say but I know he wasn't going to say it so this time I demanded it " Jasper I know there is something you want to say and if you say it nothing I'm going to leave because I don't like how your lying" Jasper then wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me into his lap saying " don't leave, I know it's bad of me to lie I'm just nervous how you'll take it in the question that I'm about to ask you".

I looked at Jasper and put both my hands on either side of his face while saying " Jasper there's nothing that can scare me away from you, don't you trust me?" I was a little hurt that Jasper didn't trust me but I was immediately shut down by that top because Jasper then said " no, I do trust you with all my heart but I'm just nervous that you won't look at me the same".

We both sat there in silence just holding one another finding comfort in how close we were, then I heard Jasper sigh before pulling away and looking me straight in the eye and saying " do you really want me to say what I've been dreading to say all day?" I looked at him and nodded my head waiting for his reply.

Jasper sat there for a minute, then he took a deep breath and said " Sabrina I'm........."
