Meeting With Eden

A couple weeks later...

Amber's POV

I was back at Grimshade talking to Michael. He said "Well, now we need to make a plan to stop Eden." "I know, but shouldn't we save Devin first?" I asked. (The battle with Eden is after the event of Johnathan being kidnapped) "It's not that easy. Also, you're a target. He still wants you, as well as the Grandmaster but it's unclear. Anyways, my priority is keeping you safe from him. I don't want to have you get captured by him. Ritchie also made it pretty clear that I should keep you away from doing anything related to Eden." He said. I sighed and said "Ritchie really cares about me. But, Michael I can't just sit here and hope it all goes well. I need to help, that's what my magic is for!" "Fine. I'll let you go with me, but we're going in a couple days to prepare. You might want to tell Ritchie in case anything happens." He said. I nodded and then I went back to my room. My kids were staying with Bren, and of course I trust him to keep them safe. I turned the lights on and then I laid on my bed. I sent a mental message to Ritchie telling him about what Michael and I are going to do. And then I felt something strange. I got up and saw a man in dark clothing. I recognized him, it was Eden. Eden grinned and said "You remember me, don't you?" I took my swords out and said "What are you doing here, Eden?" "I'm here for you, my dear. That's the whole reason I'm here. Now, be a good girl and come with me, or else I'll have to use extreme methods." He said. I knew that I couldn't get anyone else, because they'll get hurt especially my kids. I said "I'm not going with you. Leave before I destroy you!" He smiled and said "Well, looks like I'll have to use them. I didn't want to use such extreme measures... Oh well." He teleported us outside and then I attacked first. He dodged me and then strike me. I hit a hill and then we kept fighting until I was on the ground, bleeding. He chanted a spell circle which was really painful, but then I heard thunder from afar. My eyes widened and then I saw lightning strike Eden. He moved back and said "What the--" I saw Ritchie, standing there in his demon form. Then I looked up at the sky and saw Brandon flying to us. Ritchie said "Now that's not how you treat a lady." He went and fought Eden. Brandon came to me and said "Are you alright?" "I'm fine. But how did you know that this was happening?" I asked. "Well, Ritchie sent a mental message back to you, but you didn't answer. And he had a bad feeling so we came as fast as we could. I'm getting you out of here." Brandon answered. "At least get Michael. He can stop Eden and give us time to get out of here." I said. "Alright, let's go get him." He said. We went to Michael's room and then woke him up. We explained everything and then Michael came out. I saw that Ritchie was getting injured. Michael went to his dark form and then attacked Eden. Ritchie came to me and said "I'm so glad I came. He almost took you." He hugged me tightly, and then I said "I need to help Michael." "No! I'm not letting you--" He didn't finish his sentence as I pushed past him and then fought Eden with everything I had. I froze Eden in time, where Michael did the ritual and separated the two. Then after the real Eden used a final attack, which I blocked and I was unconscious. 

Michael's POV

"I did it." I said to myself. I saw that the real Eden hit Amber badly. He disappeared and then I went to Devin. He was unconscious. I said "How's Amber?" "She's unconscious. Also her heartbeat is weak, we need to get her to the infirmary." Ritchie said. Ritchie picked Amber up and then had her on his back. Then with Brandon, we shadow teleported to the Protectors, where we could find Lo'Pho. We knew he could heal her, so when we got there. I saw that all the Protectors gathered up. Ritchie yelled "WE NEED HELP RIGHT NOW!! AMBER'S INJURED!" Bri and Lo'Pho ran towards us and Ritchie put Amber down. Lo'Pho used his magic to heal Amber, and it worked. Her injuries disappeared, and then Ritchie checked her pulse. He sighed in relief and said "She's okay. We need to let her rest." "She can stay with the Protectors." Bri said. "It's too dangerous...you guys can't fight off Eden if he comes back. She should stay with Divinus Magia." Ritchie said. We kept arguing until I said "Look! Amber is a target right now. Currently, Divinus Magia is the best place for her. All the members are strong and all of them have a strong relationship with her. It'll be easier for her to be there, especially since Grimshade is a bit mismanaged. I'll tell Bren to keep Amber's kids safe and tell Silver about the situation. We need to have another meeting in secret, because I don't trust the Grandmaster right now. Ritchie, carry Amber. I'll open a portal to your island." I used my shadow magic and opened a portal to the Divinus Magia island. I said "Her life is in your hands. I cannot allow her to be captured. Please do your best and give it everything you got to stop Eden or anyone who is a threat to Amber." "I won't let Eden or anyone lay a hand on her. I promise, Michael." Ritchie said. Brandon and Ritchie with Amber on his back went through the portal and then I made it disappeared. I sighed and said "I'll explain when we'll have the meeting. Now I'll take my leave." I went back to Grimshade and made sure that the other members are doing well, then I go to my bed and sleep.
