Her Guardians...

A couple days later...

Ritchie's POV

I was sitting in the infirmary, watching over Amber. She was fine, but she needed rest. She hadn't woken up yet, which I was worried about. I just hoped that Amber will wake up before the next games. We need to talk about how we're going to make sure that she isn't used in whatever plan Grandmaster Johnathan is doing. I already contacted Grimshade and The Protectors about what happened. We decided to hold a secret meeting between all the guilds, so that we can know our next steps. I told the guild to wait in the guild hall, while Brandon is going to wait for the guilds to come. I was sitting beside Amber, and then I felt her hand squeeze mine. I looked up and then I said "Amber?" She opened her eyes and asked "What happened?" "You were kidnapped and then Colin saved you. He isn't here right now, but he's getting inside info for the guilds. The other guilds are gathering in the guild hall right now." I said. "Where am I?"She asked. "You're at Divinus Magia island. Come on, everyone's waiting at the guild hall." I said. I stood up, and then I picked Amber up. She said "Ritchie! Stop carrying me! I can walk too!" "No, doctor's orders. You aren't suppose to do much. So I'm carrying you to the guild hall." I said. "Oh fine. Michael's literally attached to me. He's like a parent for me...So if he yells at you for carrying me like this, then it's not my fault." She said. I rolled my eyes and carried her down to the guild hall. 

Amber's POV

Ritchie was carrying me to the guild hall, where I saw all the other guilds were sitting with their guildmates and talking. Ritchie cleared his throat and said "Look, who's awake now." Everyone went silent, and then Ritchie took me to where Grimshade was sitting and put me down. Allumos sat beside me and was making sure I wouldn't fall. I knew that Pat was still there, so I guessed that Pat had control of the body right now. Ritchie and Brandon explained the situation a bit, and then I felt my arm pulsing a strong wave of energy. I looked and saw that my dragon mark was glowing. I said "My mark's glowing." Everyone looked and Ritchie said "You're right. That means, the other guardian is here in this room." "I didn't know that you had this mark, Amber. I mean, I have my own, but it hasn't glowed since I was locked away in the lacrima. I must say, you're very powerful if you have that mark." Allumos said. I nodded and then I looked for Bryan. I saw him and he asked "M-me?" "It couldn't be him. He's not even that strong, and he's not good at using his power wisely." Lo'Pho said. "You see, Lo'Pho, the mark can only choose dragon slayers. It's weird how dragon slayers have to protect another dragon slayer. Anyways, I know that Mario already has his." I said. 

"So, I'm suppose to protect you...from what though?" Bryan asked. "Well, that's the thing. You're to protect me from any threat that could potentially kill me or I'm in a danger that I might need your aid. It's a lot to take in, I get it. Wait...I think Hope is coming out." I said. My necklace glowed and then a dragon appeared in front of everyone. Everyone except Divinus Magia and I were shocked. I almost fell, but Allumos caught me. He helped me sit up again and then Hope said "I'm sorry for using up your energy. It's just I felt like I should come out." "It's alright, I'm not unconscious at least. Now, explain to them." I said. "Alright, as Amber said, you Bryan are chosen to be one of Amber's guardians. You're the third one that's been chosen. By far, the most any dragon slayer has chosen. First of all, you're very lucky to be chosen. She already has 2 guardians, but it still chose you. Also, another thing that Amber has done, but no other dragon slayer has done. All of her guardians were chosen, since she first met them." Hope said. Everyone went dead silent, then Allumos asked "I don't mean to intrude, but since when have you both been bonded for?" "Since, I was a baby. I was given Rainbow Dragon Slayer magic, but it was forced, so it turned into a bonding. My parents didn't know that I bonded with Hope, and then they realized that I could use certain powers. They realized that I had Rainbow Dragon Slayer magic instead of Light Dragon Slayer magic which is what my parents wanted me to have. They went on a rampage and killed the people who gave me my powers. I mean they deserved it, they were forcing dragons to give their magic to people without the dragon's consent." I said. "Now, Bryan do you accept this honour to serve as Amber's guardian?" Hope asked. "Well, as much of an honour it is to be a guardian. I just don't know if it's worth the risk. I mean I have my own life to live." Bryan said. "You'll be able to do what you want, it's just when the mark glows, it somewhat contacts you and then you come and protect me. It's not like you have to be near me all the time. I wouldn't want to put that burden on you, if you're forced to stay close to me. Anyways, Bryan, this is an opportunity that will never come to you again unless you're chosen again. You will gain a potential that no other dragon slayer can gain." I said. Bryan was thinking for a bit, and then said "I'll do it. If the mark wanted me to do this, then I will. Also, I trust you Amber." He came closer to me, and Hope said "You need to touch Amber's mark and then say 'Bound'. Then you will feel some pain, but it'll disappear quickly and you'll have your mark." Bryan touched my arm with the mark and said "Bound." 

All the sudden, the mark glowed and then it stopped. Bryan was holding in the pain, and then it disappeared. He said "That hurt, but I'm fine now." "Your mark is on your right arm." I said. He looked and said "I feel energy coming from there, so it is." After we talked about how to protect me and how to make sure that they don't take over Atlanti. We started arguing about who should stay with Amber and things like that until I yelled "EVERYONE, JUST SHUT UP!" "Jeez, you guys can't even agree on how to protect me. I know that you guys want the best for me, but remember I have magic too. It's not like I can't protect  myself. I don't need so many people, I want you guys to also to not worry about me. How about this? I stay with Divinus Magia, and then if the situation gets worse, we can get more people. At least, let me approve of it. Also, if I want to visit any other guilds or certain places, I'll tell you guys so you know or anything like that. It's also the guild's responsibility to protect me while I'm visiting the other guilds beside Divinus Magia. Alright? Does that sound good?" I said. Michael said "Fine. It's a better plan than I thought it would be. If there's anything else, anyone needs to say please say it now, before we all leave." "I do. So Michael... Mitch and Colin are working with Grandmaster Johnathan, but they realized that they're wrong and they are our inside intel. Just so you know, Michael." Ritchie said. "Alright, I'll keep that in mind. Now, Grimshade, let's go. I hope to see you soon, Amber." Michael said. Grimshade left and then the other guilds also left. After, Ritchie and Brandon were assigning people to protect me. Then he dismissed everyone. I was hauled out of the guild hall by David. He said "Come on, let's hang out with the flowers!" I followed him to the garden and we hanged out with the flowers for the rest of the day.
