Final Battle Pt.3

Amber's POV

I was falling, and I couldn't help myself. Then I heard a distant voice. I looked around and then I saw that Mitch was falling too. He clung onto me and then my mark glowed. Mitch had no idea what my mark was doing. But then a bright flash of light came and then I saw that Mitch got his mark without him saying the word. I closed my eyes, and then I said "Dragon Force Unbound!" A bright light came from my mark and my pendant, and then I realized that I transformed into a dragon! I saw that Mitch was on me now. He said "What the?! Are you a dragon?" I nodded and then flew up to the island now. Mitch turned into his Dragon Force and then jumped off me to land on the island. I roared and everyone saw me. I landed on the island, and Eden said: "What's this?" "You're going to regret everything!" I said. Mitch said "Dragon Force Unbound!" And then he glowed. After he turned into a Poison dragon. He stood beside me, and then somewhat motioned to the other dragon slayers to do the same. "Dragon Force Unbound!" all the rest said. Mario, Bryan and Colin all turned into their dragon. I stomped on the ground, and everyone was getting powered up. I roared, and that's when things started getting heated. We were fighting for so long. Colin helped Michael strengthen his moves. Mitch was using his tail to poison the other evil people. Bryan was using his fire breath, and Mario was making the ground shake. After a while, Eden was furious. He blasted attacks at us and then he hit me hard. I almost couldn't save myself, but I did. After, it was just Eden. I saw that the dragon slayers weren't strong enough to hold the form for long. So they turned back to normal with some injuries. I landed and blocked everyone else. Eden said "That's it! I didn't think I'd have to use my final attack. But I will." He was powering up. I used a dome shield to protect everyone else. I powered up for my final attack too, and then I blasted it with all I had left. A bright light appeared, then after the floating island was falling to the ground. I was weak, but I managed to slow down the fall of the island, and put it down safely. I landed on the ground and I turned around to see everyone else. Ritchie said "You did it...You defeated Eden. We won." I nudged him with my snout and then he hugged it. 

After, I felt really weak. I started falling and then landing on my side. I turned back to normal, and I couldn't move. Ritchie ran up to me and said "Amber! Are you okay?" "I guess I used too much this time...I can't move.." I said. "No, no...I can't lose you. We won. No...please." Ritchie said. He was starting to cry, and Mitch came up too. He said "Amber...did that blast..." "My crystal is cracked and it's too big to fix. I think I'm going to die." I said. "No... can't we save you in another way?" Ritchie asked. "Not anything I know. I don't have much time left here. I'll probably disappear as well as my dragon in me." I said. Ritchie sat beside me and was holding my hand. Mitch also sat down and was holding my other hand. Both of them had tears in their eyes. I felt the darkness coming, but I kept fighting to stay alive. I said, "I don't think I can stay for much longer..." "No...Michael?" Ritchie looked at him and said. Michael shook his head and said "I'm sorry...I don't know anything that could save her." "It's probably too late anyway...just promise me something...you guys will take care of Ash and Lily for me...and make them be as strong as I was," I said. Ritchie and Mitch both nodded, and then I let the darkness consume me. 

Mitch's POV

I couldn't believe it. She was gone... I was really selfish to let something that happened in the past affect me so much. I was crying, she was really gone. I knew that everyone was going to miss her. I always hated that I could cry, but I let it happen just this once. I felt tears roll down my cheeks. It was too much to comprehend. Some of us stepped away from her to cry alone. All of us knew that the real hero was Amber. She kept fighting regardless of the consequences. But as we thought she was gone, I saw that her crystal had a faint glow. I said, "Is it me or is her crystal glowing a bit?" Ritchie looked at it, and said: "It is." Then it glowed brighter and brighter until a flash of light came out of it. A dragon appeared from it. I didn't know who it was, but apparently, everyone else knew who it was. "Hope?" Ritchie asked. "Yes, it is me, Hope. The dragon spirit that was in Amber." the dragon answered. Ritchie and I got up, and she said "I know this is a very heartbreaking moment. You all should be lucky, she kept living for this long. You see, this isn't the first time, she died... She almost didn't make it last time, but her spirit was so strong that I allowed her to live. And even now, I can feel her fighting spirit in her and of course, all the people and the hearts she inspired and helped. She was someone special, yes, which is why I'm going to save her once again. But the only issue is that once I save her again...the next time this happens, I cannot save her. I'm only allowed to save her two times in her life. So I hope that you'll find ways to save her without me. Do you all understand that?" "Yes, we do...Thank you for everything...She means a lot to us and we want her to stay and see her kids grow up." Michael said. Hope nodded and went to Amber, she did a light breath and her crystal was fixed. Then Hope disappears inside the crystal, and then Amber got up. It was so sudden, and we all hugged her. I said "Oh my god! You're alive." She said, "What happened?" "Your dragon spirit, Hope saved you. I'm so glad you're okay!" Ritchie said. She smiled and said, "Well, I better live my life better." We all laughed and then helped Amber up. We honoured those who fell in battle...After we went our separate ways back to our guilds. At Grimshade, we found out that Colin and Zata separated during the transformation. So Colin still was a Shadow Dragon Slayer but he lost his Dragon Force. Colin said, "Well, I guess I'll have to train harder to become as strong as I was when Zata was in me." We all agreed on that and then was dismissed. Michael and Amber went off somewhere else as I apologized for my behaviour to Pat and Colin. 

Amber's POV

Michael and I went to the Wandering Coins guildhall because we were having a small meeting. When we got there, Ritchie and Austin were there. I asked, "Where's Brandon?" "Oh, he's resting. I told him that he should stay and I'll give him the details later." Ritchie said. Michael and I sat down and we talked about what we're going to do from now on. Ritchie said "Well, I'm going to help Brandon control the demon in him. Since I can control mine, I want to help him do the same. So that the situation that Amber helped in won't happen again. So yeah that's what we're gonna do. Also to try and find a way home, but since our versions of us are dead it might be best if we stay here. We don't know yet." "Well, since Grandmaster Johnathan is dead...we need a new Grandmaster. So I was thinking that one of you guys could do it." Austin said. "Austin, you should be the Grandmaster and the guild leader of the Wandering Coins," I said. "What?! How am I going to do that?!? I can't do that..." He said. "Oh come on. You destroyed the person who created all of this evil and I know that no one is a better fit for the job than you." I said. "Are you sure?" He asked. "Of course! I think you'd do well." Ritchie said. "I also believe that you'll do well. You deserve it at this point." Michael said. "If you guys believe I can do it, then I will. It'll take some time for me to make the Wandering Coins bigger again and to be the Grandmaster at the same time. And let's never mention Johnathan ever again." Austin said. "Agreed. Anyways, I'm leaving the guild." Michael said. "What?" I said. "I feel like there are so many things that I failed at doing. Especially being a good guild leader, so I'm going to leave the guild. And I'm thinking of leaving the guild up to you, Amber." He said. "Umm, I mean this is an honour, but are you sure about leaving the guild?" I asked. "It'll be in good hands and I know that I can trust you to run the guild...Bren would just wreck it even more. I might come back when I feel like I'm ready to return. And I hope that the guild will be much better than it is now." Michael said. I smiled and said "I accept the position. I'll make you proud, Michael. Trust me. Grimshade will be a force to reckon with." "I bet it won't defeat Divinus Magia. Our guild has really strong members!" Ritchie said, trying to boast. "Sure...you have people who lose their clothes when they go full force!" I said. "Well, they'll learn not to do that. Apparently, Lucas joined the family with losing their clothes thing. Anyways, we'll see when the GMG starts up again." He said. We all had a fun time, and then we went our ways. Ritchie went back to Divinus Magia, Michael and I went back to Grimshade to tell them about me becoming the guild leader, and Austin is going to be the Grandmaster and the guild leader of the Wandering Coins. Michael and I had to do tons of paperwork to get me to be the new guild leader. Soon, Michael went off on his journey, but we made a way to communicate with each other. And from that day forward, Atlantide became a safe and peaceful place in all the land. 

Thank you for reading this fanfic!!! It was a great journey from the beginning of FTO to the finales! I know it's sad to see the series go now! But don't fret! I'm going to write a second book for this and it's going to be more original but ships will be used in it so don't hate on me for using certain ships over others...as we know, when one story ends another begins!
