Dear diary || stelena (on hold)

Chapter 1

"Elena, hurry up!" my mom yells from downstairs. Today is my first day at Mystic Falls High School and I'm not looking forward to it.                         
"Oh don't look so upset," my mom scolds "Jenna's friend Ric says it's a great school with amazing kids." I role my eyes at my mothers words.
How can I be exited to go to a public school full of ugly and dumb kids when I used to go to a fancy private school? Not to mention I was also head cheerleader and got referred to as the queen. What a downgrade.

I get out of the car and blow my mom a kiss. The school didn't look as bad as I expected. There was a wolf painted on the wall. To my right I can just make out the huge football field through the crowd of students.                                    
I'm nervous. I've been going to the same school with the same friends all my life. It's not like I'm scared to make new friends. I just don't want to have to make new friends. You can't blame me right? My life was as close to perfect as humanly possible. I take a deep breath and walk up to a rather perky looking blonde standing by the entrance to the school. "Hey, can you tell me where Mr. Saltzman's classroom is?" I ask with a fake smile plastered to my face. She nods and replies "Yes of course, just walk down the hall, the second door to the left is his classroom."
As I take a step towards the door she stops me. "You're the new girl, Elena, right? I'm Caroline Forbes. If you need anything just ask!" She gives me a huge smile and I smile back, and to my surprise it's not the fake one I've been wearing lately.
I follow Caroline's directions and walk down the hall to the second door on my left. I walk in without knocking. Huge mistake. I stop and stare in shock. On the desk, is a young woman making out with, who I'm guessing is
Mr. Saltzman. All I can see is her strawberry blonde hair but somehow she looks familiar. Then it hit me.
"Aunt Jenna?!"

So this was the first chapter. What do you think? I'll try to post a chapter at least once a week. I'll try to make the chapters a bit longer than this one.

April 2020: hi everyone, the first 2 and a half chapters were written in December. I think my writing has improved a tiny bit since then. Tbh I don't like how they are written but I'm too lazy to fix them. I obviously didn't stick to one chapter a week lol.
