"Hann? Love? Are you okey?" I heard Dan saying next to me while I went back to reality.

"Huh?" I said and look right in his eyes.

"Are you okey? I was calling you a few times but you didn't answer me"

"Yeah, I'm alright." Not.

The bell rang and I packed my bag and went to my next lesson while I looked around for Kyle. But I didn't see any sign of him. I slowly looked to the floor, I lost him. Not only the person I felt good with but also my best friend. I came at the classroom and went inside to sit next to Dan. Normally I have this class with Kyle but he didn't show up. The teacher came inside and there was still no sign of Kyle. Where is he?

"Miss Tyler, do you know the answer?" asked Mr. Norman.

"I don't care.." I said while keep doodling in my book.

"What did you say, young lady?"

"I DON'T FUCKING CARE!" I yelled in his face.

"How dare you to yell at me?! Pack your things and go to detention. I don't want to see you anymore in my lesson today!" He said and point his finger at the door. I grab my thing and saw Dan looking with shocked eyes. I gave him a light smile and made my way to the detention room. While walking to the detention room I passed the music room where I hear a god voice while there is a beautiful harmony from a keyboard. I slowed down and walked into the room to see someone with a beanie and a galaxy hoodie with cats on. Kyle.

I walked to him and lay my hand on his shoulder as he stopped with singing. He turned his head and looked at me with his red and wet eyes. A little piece of me felt guilty. Guilty because I made him sad and heartbroken.

"Hey" I said with my voice as a whisper. But Kyle just looked at me and said nothing.

"Kyle?" I asked and he gave me light nod.

"Can we talk?" I asked and sat next him while looking at my hands.

"Umm.. sure." He said while he voice broke at the end.

"Look, I'm sorry for what I did but I can't change my feeling for Dan. I loved him from the beginning of this school year and I know you for a bit. But you are a nice guys. Sweet and kind. And I'm really thankful for what you did for me so far. I know I broke your heart and you told me everything and I'm really thankful for that. I just don't want you to be mad at me. I want to be able to talk with someone if I can't talk with Dan. I need you as my best friend, Kyle." I said and looked at him while there are tears in my eyes.

"I'm sorry I yelled at you yesterday. I overreact. I was just... sad. Yes, I have a crush on you but you're right. You have something with Dan and I should be there for you as a best friend. And I will be there for you, I promise." Kyle said with a smile at the end. He held his pinky out and I in twisted with my pinky.

"You have a really good voice btw." I said and bumped my shoulder against his.

"Haha thanks. I can say the same to you too." He said and grab his bag while he went from his seat. "I actually have detention now."

"Haha me too. I yelled at Mr. Norman." I said laughing as we made our way to the detention room.

"Good way to start the new year, Hann" said Kyle amused.

We went inside the room and saw Ryler with his friends at the back of the room. I looked at them while I sat at the front with Kyle next to me. I heard them laughing at the back when there were footsteps coming this way. Someone went sitting behind me and feel his breath against my neck.

"Hey babe, did you miss me this vacation?" said Ryler as his lip was against my ear.

"Absolutely not" I hissed at him while I turned around to look at him. I could see that Kyle was looking too.

"Oh... I missed you too. So, I heard you are with the nerd boy. What is his name? Daniel? Maybe I should learn him a lesson to take you away from me." He said while he grinned at me.

"Hit him one time and I'll beat the shit out of you." I said and grabbed his shirt with my fist against his chin.

"Watch me. I won't do it if you kiss me every time I say so." He said and leaned in to kiss my lips. He grabbed my shoulders so I can't push him way and he came closer. Just as he went to kiss me lips, Kyle hitted him against his cheek with his fist. I let a breath out that I was holding in. I saw Ryler on the ground holding his face as I ran to Kyle to hug him tight.

"Thank you so much to help me from that ugly frog there." I said with my face in his neck.

"Everything for my best friend." He said. That made a smile on my face again.
