Chapter 34:Family Reunion?

~Luke's POV~

"Why are you here?" Nat asked sternly.
"I...came to...visit..."

"Who are you?" I asked.

"I'm her father" The man says.What?How could that be...I thought he was dead.

"I thought you said he was dead" I said to Nat."I said he wasn't here.Not dead" She says.

"Natalie...I-"

"Save it" Nat cuts him off then walks away.

"Are you her boyfriend?" He asked.
"No...just a friend.And I don't know what happend between you two but stay away from her" I said.

"I'm her father.You can't tell me to do that" He says.I ignored him and walked where Nat went.

"Nat!" I yelled.She turned around."Look.I know it's none of my business but what happend between you and your father?"

"He left us" She says.We stayed quiet for a while until I said "Lets go back"
"I'm not talking to him" She says.I nod and we head back to the waiting area.Nat's dad was just sitting in the chair.He wanted to say something but Nat cuts him off by saying "Don't"
We sat in silence basically.No one was talking.I could see Nat was shaking a bit. "Are you cold?" I asked.
"Uh a little" She replies.I took off my jacket and put it on her shoulders."Thanks" She says.
I could feel Nat's dad staring at us.I don't blame him, I mean he's her father and fathers has instincts to protect their daughters from boys.Or at least that's what I think.

~Hours Later~

We've been waiting for so long.Nat fell asleep on my arms.I check the time on my phone and it was 2 am.

"Are you sure you two aren't dating?" Her dad asks.I simply nod and looked at Nat.The doctor comes out of the door.I tap Nat and she immediately wakes up and tells "Is she okay?!"

"Her heart rate went back to normal and we got everything back to normal.I think she can survive this" The doctor says smiling.

"Oh my god thank you doc'" Nat says shugging him.They pull apart and the doctor walks off.

"She's gonna survive!" Nat yells then hugs me.I hug her back.Finally I can see the smile on her face again, I've missed it.

~Nat's POV~

Knowing that my mom will be alright is the best freling in the world.I don't know what I'll do without her.

"She's okay..." I whisper while hugging Luke.

"Let's go see her" Luke says pulling away.I nod and we walk in.I see my 'dad' wanted to walk in but o stopped him."You should stay out here.I don't think she wants to see you" I said.He signs and sits back down.I go beside my mom.Her eyes opened a little but not fully.

"Mom!" I yelled then gently hugged her.I pull away and she says "Natalie,How are you?" She says.

"I'm great" I said and she smiles.

"Well I'm happy to here that" She says than coughs.

"You should get some rest mom" I say.

"Is that Luke?" She asked.

"Hi Ms.Carter" Luke says coming beside her.

"He stayed with me this whole time" I said.

"Thank you for taking care of my daughter for me while this all jump"

"No problem" He says smiling.

"Natalie can I talk to Luke for a second?" My mom asks.

"Yeah sure" I said getting up then walked outside.
