Chapter 9:Movie Night

~Nat's POV~

I got ready and waited for Luke to come over. Then I got a text from Noah.

'Hey'

'Hi'

'You free tonight?'

'No I'm gonna go watch a movie with a friend'

'Which friend?'

'Luke'

'I don't like u hanging out with him so much'

What? He doesn't trust me with Luke?

'Noah we're best friends...'

'I know but u hang out with him so much'

'Cuz we're best friends.'

'Okay yea whatever...ill text u later'

'Kay'

I heard a knock on the door and went to open it.

"MOM!Im going now!" I yelled as Luke chuckled. Then my mom walked in the room.

"Natalie.You haven't even introduced me to your friend." My mom said crossing her arms.

"Mom this is Luke, Luke this is my mom" I said annoyed.

"Hello Mrs. Carter." Luke said politely.

"Hello Luke" my mom said, "are you guys going on a date?" she said while winking.

"No...we're just best friends and we're gonna go watch a movie." I replied.

"Okay have fun" My mom said while waving goodbye.

"Your moms nice" Luke said.

"Well she's my mom.Always nosey." I replied.

As we were walking I wasn't really talking that much because I'm still thinking why Noah doesn't trust me with Luke.I mean yes I know we hang out a lot but it just makes us best friends.

"Nat?NAT!" Luke yelled.

"Huh oh what?" I replied.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing" I lied.

"There's something"

"There's nothing"

"Nat...you haven't been talking not much and your off in your on little world" he said looking at me.

"Fine,there is something.Noah doesn't trust me with you."

"Why?"

"Because we hang out a lot"

"Did you tell him we're just friends"

"Yea...then he ended the conversation."

"Well maybe he's just not right for you."

"How do you know?" I asked curiously

"I just know" he said smiling, "well we're here" he said as we arrived at his house.

"Luke could you-oh hello there." A woman said.

"Mom this is Natalie,Natalie this is my mom" he introduced.

"Nice to meet you Mrs. Hemmings." I said.

"Hello Natalie.Call me Liz" she smiled, "anyways Luke can you take out the trash?"

"Sure" he said walking away.

"So Natalie are you hungry?"

"Uh I guess I can eat" I said politely.

"Great. I cooked some spaghetti bolognese.Is that okay?"

"Yep that's great.I love spaghetti" I replied.

Luke walked back.

"Luke go wash your hands and we'll have dinner" Liz said.

I sat down beside Luke and Liz was across from us.

As we ate Liz just wanted to get to know me and she says me and Luke have a lot in common.

After dinner we went to the living room to watch a movie.

"What movie do you wanna watch?" he asked.

"Um...22 jump street?Im feeling a comedy right now" I chuckled.

"Sure"

After 22 jump street we watched anchor man and mean girls.

"Do you guys need anything" Liz asked.

"No we're good" Luke replied.

"Okay,if you need me I'll be upstairs." she said walking up the stairs.

"Your moms nice" I replied laughing.

"I guess we both have nice moms" he said.

Me and Luke we're moving closer and closer each movie and now we're right beside each other.

I felt tired so I rested my head on his shoulder.And slowly fell in a deep sleep.

~Luke's POV~

During Mean girls Nat rested her head on my shoulder and she slowly fell asleep.Shes so cute when she sleeps.

I didn't know what to do so I just carried her upstairs and put her in my bed.After I just went to go take a shower.

~Nat's POV~

I wake up in a bed.I thought I was on Luke's couch watching a movie.

Luke walked in drying his hair with a towel.

"Hi" he said.

"Hey.How'd I get up here?"

"You fell asleep so I carried you."

"Oh"

"You can stay the night if you want.Its way to dark outside for you to walk back." he said.

"Okay I'll call my mom"

I called my mom to tell her and she says its fine.

"I have to get home before school tomorrow to get my bag and change."

I said

"Okay."

"Can I borrow some clothes?" I asked.

He nodded and handed me a Blink 182 and a pair of boxers.

"You can change in here.I have to go dry my hair."

"Okay"

I changed and Luke walked in on his boxers and shirtless.

"I'll sleep on the floor" he said.

"No I can sleep in the couch or something."

"No it's fine,the floor is comfy." he said.

I chuckled and felt the floor which was cold and hard.

"You can sleep up here if you want"

"Okay"

He got in the bed and our backs we're facing each other.

"Cuddle?" he asked.

I chuckled and faced him.His eyes we're so blue and he actually looked pretty cute.

I then went to sleep in his chest while his arms were around me.

A/N: Movie Night :D Nat and Luke would make a great couple ;)
