Chapter 7: Forest of Songs

"You're weird,you know that right?" Molfoy says. Avery hit him behind his head making him drop his fork.
"Of course. And so are you, because your pants are once again ripped. Why is that?" I ask tilting my head to the side. Molfoy glanced down his eyes widening,his pants are ripped at the side this time.
"Ah,merlin's beard." He says jumping up and rushing out Of the Great Hall leaving everybody who heard snickering.
"Nice one,Asher. But why did you look at his pants in the first place?" Mai asks tilting her head.
"I noticed it when he stood on the seat before he sat down and hadn't said anything because I thought he'd be a little more polite this time." I say stuffing a piece of bacon into my mouth and chewing slowly. Avery and Hugo grinned.
"Do you always bite when someone barks at you?" Hugo asks.
"Of course. It depends on how loudly you bark at me." I say grinning. Draco sat down with new pants and a red face. Everyone except Tom laughed.
"It's not my fault my parents thought I was small so they bought a smaller size of clothes." He whined.
"Why didn't you try it on first, instead of waiting to come to Hogwarts?" Olivia asks.
"Cause I trust my parents judgement." Draco says.
"Well you shouldn't trust someone's judgement blindly though it's good that you trust them you have to make sure they don't make any mistakes,we're all human after all so we make mistakes even grown ups." I say. Just as the Professors began to give out our schedules. Since we're first years we all have the same schedules. Well not precisely. First class potions!Yay!
" Why do you look excited?" Tom asks after briefly glancing at his schedule.
"Cause I have potions with Professor Slughorn first." I say rising from my seat. "See you guys later." I say striding away. I'll leave Tom so that he could experience things first than as soon as he mentions Horcxus I'll stop him with the research I'll be doing through these few years, hopefully it would give him a better way to obtain immortality. I know it sounds like a kind of a crappy idea. But if you look closely at it you'd know that he'd probably have to have that idea of obtaining immortality before I could just shove it underneath his nose.
'Blue?'I ask.
'Yeah?' He muttered.
'How does a person obtain immortality without committing sin?'I ask. Silence. I entered the class and sat at the back.
'You could try to find the Forest of Song.' He answered eventually. 'The Forest of Song? What's special about this forest that would give you immortality? 'I ask.
'Well this Forest is actually apart of a kingdom dat has been hidden for quite sometime in fact no one remembers it and everyone else believes it to be myth or Legend. Unfortunately only a couple who are truly in love could pass its trails and become the new immortal rulers of it.' Blue explained. Confused I ask:'But what happened to its previous owners?'
'There never were any previous owners. And if there were they have long since ascended.' Blue answered.
'To heaven or another plane?' I ask.
'Obviously another plane. They are probably exploring the universe or they could be dead.' Blue says.
'But I thought their immortal? How could they have died than?' I ask.
'By braking their bonds with each other. The rest we have to find more about.' Blue says. I scanned through the previous  owners thoughts feeling a slight tug on them. My eyes widen in disbelief.
'Is the Forest of Song a literal forest with songs playing constantly or is it only figuratively meant?'I ask.
'Literary. ' Blue answered. Stunned I looked at the board my mind blank. Until Professor Slughorn and the rest of the class entered,Tom included. He sat down next to me nodding his head in greeting. I nodded back slightly.
"Okay,Hello everyone I'm Professor Slughorn from today onwards I'll be your potions teacher so let's get started..." Taking out my quil and ink bottle I began to write down what the teacher said and watched as Tom did the same.While my mind was not truly there.
'I think I know where it is,Blue.' I say.
' You think?' Blue asks.
'Yes. When I was younger I found it in our back garden though I haven't been there. During Christmas we'll go and investigate whether it truly is the Forest of Song or not.' I say.
'There's a slight problem with that. Who will be your life partner?' Blue asks.
'Riddle.' I thought without thinking.
'HUH?!'Blue screamed inside my head making me flinch but I kept on writing. 'Why him?' Blue asks more calmly.
'You'll find out soon.'I answered simply and began to focus on my work. I felt that I had to find a way for Tom to like me,but how? The bell rang signalling the end of class. I stood up and packed my things in my back and then I noticed his schedule. Yay!I smiled brightly.
"It seems we share the exact same classes,Riddle." I say. Tom only glanced at me as I turned around and walked away I won't force him and I'll only ask for his attention as a friend. I kinda felt relieved to not have to try and coax him into liking me. Transfiguration was next I wonder how that'll be.
