Weeks passed as I slowly had one sided conversations with Tom and fuller conversations with the others. The weekend of Halloween quickly arrived as students began to head home for the short weekend unfortunately my parents had informed me that our house is going through reconstruction which means I can't go home so I have to stay. Tom,Hugo,Olivia,Meleny and Mai stayed as well along with a few other Slyhteren. Since there was no curfew I roamed the hallways until I spotted a lone figure sitting on a courtyard bench. As I got closer I noticed one subtle detail, the pitch black ponytail.
"Riddle?" I say as to not startle him. Nothing. I shrug and sat down next to him.
"Go away,Dawn." I heard a muffled whisper say.
"Nope. I'm gonna stay now." I answer grinning.
"Of course you are." He mutters.
"So what's up,Riddle?" I ask.
"It's none of your business." Tom says.
"Well, now it is. You are my first friend after all." I say. He stiffened his head lifted and he gave me a very very angry glare. I know he's already killed a few kids from his orphanage but I really could care less. I grinned even wider.
"You are such a riddle,Riddle." I say and smiled. He rolled his eyes and looked away up at the stars. "Beautiful isn't it? Though probably not as bright to you as it is to me." I say without thinking. But I couldn't care less.
"Probably not." He agreed. Stunning me. I shrugged.

"Ah,here you are Tom,oh? Miss Dawn how nice to see you

"Ah,here you are Tom,oh? Miss Dawn how nice to see you." Dumbeldoor's voice rang out from behind us effectively scarring the jeebies out of me.
"Professor Dumbeldoor! Sir, could you not do that, please?" I ask having stood up. Or rather sprang up. Dumbeldoor grinned.
"Sorry,Miss Dawn. Tom you won't be able to stay during Christmas so you'll have to return to the orphanage." Dumbeldoor says. Toms eyes turned sour. An idea struck me.
"Sir?" I say loudly. Dumbeldoor looked at me.
"Yes,Miss Dawn?" He asks curious.
"Can't he stay with me for Christmas? It would be much better for him I'm sure. And I can give him a prensent which he choose himself so it would work out for the both of us." I say smiling. Dumbeldoor grinned.
"Tom? What do you think?" Dumbeldoor asked Tom. He nodded his head.
"As long as her parents agree than I'm fine with it." He answered.
" Than find me as soon as they agree. Or the other way around." Dumbeldoor says and walked away. I sat back down and rubbed my pendant. Blue appeared still asleep on my lap.
" Blue. Wake up." I say nudging him. Blue sat up with groggy eyes and stared at me.
'What?' He asks. I smiled happy.
"Find my parents and ask them right now, whether or not my friend Tom Riddle may stay with us this Christmas  because he can't return to his home during Christmas. Now hurry." I say out loud.
"No." He says out loud.
"Oh,come on. Just leave already and use teleportation." I say nudging him. He dispersed rather quickly with a huff of annoyance.
"Why is he so lazy?" Tom asks.
"Cause he's kind of still a baby." I answer. I looked up at the sky and noticed the spirits are singing a different song again. So I began to sing along waiting for Blue to return.

Tom gave me a funny look and I shrugged still singing I refuse to be put off by this guy. Blue appeared again just as I finished.
"Your parents say it's fine. And that he can use the spare room in your bedroom. But Sir.Fredrick will check in regularly. They also say you should keep on writing." Blue says and dispersed. I narrowed my eyes.
"So they won't be there."I muttered softly and sighed. "Alright let's find-"I began but Dumbeldoor appeared right in front of me. I fell back hitting the pavement with my head but I sat up rather quickly.
"PROFESSOR!" I whinned. Dumbeldoor laughed.
"Sorry,Miss Dawn but I couldn't help it."He says. I rolled my eyes. This professor I like a kid!!
"Well Tom,it seems you have somewhere to go for Christmas. By the way miss Dawn." Dumbeldoor looked back at me as I removed the leaves from my hair.
"Yes,sir?" I ask.
"You have a lovely voice. Would you mind singing at the Halloween feast this year?" He asks. My face turned crimson for the very first time since I reincarnated.
"Um. Okay. I will." I say slightly flabbergast. Dumbeldoor grinned and disappeared.
"Why is your face red?" Tom asks smiling wickedly. Dam,I encouraged his evil side!
"You'll see." I say simply and stood up dusting the dirt from my clothes and removed the last few leaves before I turned around and left humming to myself. Now I have a friend for Christmas. Uh! I forgot to ask for those books, gah! Now I have to find Dumbeldoor. I walked through the corridors until I bumped into him again. He caught and steadied me.
"Looking for something miss Dawn?" He asks.
"Uh,yes sir. Do you by any chance know what a mage is,or Magus?" I ask. The Professors eyes widened.
"I do. But how do you know what they are?" He asks me.
"Because I am one. But I need books and legends to study with but I haven't been able to-"I began but Dumbeldoor broke me off.
"It's fine I understand. Follow me." He says and leads me up to the last floor of the castle opening a locked door we entered a huge library. "These are books and legends about mages. You may come here at any and all times. Enjoy yourself since I have something to do." Dumbeldoor says and dropped a key into my hands. I looked up to find that he's missing. I brought my hands up and whispered.

"Spirit'Spirits of gravity and weight,
Please bring any and all books
Which contain information
On the lost Forest of Song,
If in your power."

I say. The light specks nodded vigorously and zoomed around the entire library like flies while I sat at a table and rubbed Blue's pendant. He appeared and snuggled close to me feeling rather spirited that I had thought of him.Seven books plopped down in front of me scattering dust in their wake. Sneezing I swatted the dust away as quickly as I could.
"I thought you said there is little to no books about the Forest of Song." I say accusingly.
" It's only cause we're in a library that's bound to be millennia old." Blue complained.
"Sure, sure." I grumbled and began to read the first books title:
The Legend of The Lost Kingdom of Song.
