Chapter 2 - The Wedding

Several months after you find the village...

As time passed on Aphmau and Y/n both became well know lords to the people of Pheonix Drop, Y/n made sure everyone felt comfortable and made sure to train herself in combat. She also helped Aphmau tended to the sick, built new homes for those who were moving into this fine village. She met so many people Laurence, Cadenza, Kawaii~Chan, Donna, Logan, Brian, Kiki, Brendon, Dale, Zoey, and so many more people you could imagine. Also, Aphmau has an adopted son named Levin, he's adorable and cute and the best part is Y/n is an auntie!

This day is special for the whole village, Donna and Logan are getting married and the whole village is in a rush to get everything in perfect shape for the wedding.

Y/n POV

IM SO EXCITED! ITS DONNA AND LOGANS WEDDING DAY, EEEEK!

Y/n, calm yourself, we still need to check if the honeymoon boat is ready.

I walk past where the wedding will be taking place and head towards the honeymoon boat, I check if everything is in preparation with Aph since she got there before me and head back up to where my home is.

I see up ahead the High Preist Zane and his fellow guards talking with Garroth, it doesn't look like a nice conversation, I should put an end to it.

"What's going on here?" Aph asked.

Zane is here.

"Lady Aphmau it's a pleasure to meet you so bright and early. By the looks of it, the preparations have been completed to commence the wedding. Very beautiful."

Zane says.

"They have...say, what's going on here?"

I asked confused.

"Hm? Oh, well it seems your guard didn't show the proper "respect" my guards are used to having me receive. It's a formality between guards, something to fo with "honor amongst guards". In any care, I had my guards back down. As they can CLEARLY see we are in the presence of another Lord's village and their customs are probably not suited to our own. The trouble has been avoided of course."

Zane says a bit annoyed with our guard.

"I see...thank you," I say, choosing my words carefully.

"No need to mention it. By the way, Guards are required to dress formally for weddings - you understand? This is due to the fact that weddings often Guarded by guards in uniform are considered heavily "rich" weddings and that often attract thieves. I highly suggest you make your guard here dress for the occasion."

Zane says a bit agitated.

This is not my choice for Garroth, its Garroth's choice if he wants to dress formally, and I know he wants to hide his identity for reasons. I will not force him.

"I'm sorry, but that's his choice," I say calmly.

"His choice?" I'm sorry but are you the Lord of Phoenix Drop? You can tell him to do as you need and he will abide by your rule."

Zane says.

I know this, don't take me for a fool, your Grace.

"I'm sorry your Grace, I will not force him," I say honestly.

"Hm, since my warnings did not endure you to budge I am forced to be blunt. Make him wear formal wear or I refuse to perform Donna's ceremony. Are we clear?"

Zane says sternly.

"Wait, what?" Aph says a bit shocked.

"You see I am the High Priest of O'khasis... a very prominent place and very much admired throughout the world. If I am purposely put into any danger well... then... let's just say the relations of O'khasis and Phoenix Drop might suffer." Zane says.
