It was late at night and I know at this time I should be asleep but I was thinking about the state of our world and how corrupted it was getting. I was also worried about little Levin and how Phoenix Drop was holding up without me and Aph there. I want to make sure that all of them are alright I want to protect my fellow guards and Aphmau, I want to put anything I want aside and put them first, that is my duty to think of others before myself.

I was cut off from my thoughts when I heard someone approaching.

I find it interesting that every time I have a moment to myself someone is always there when I am finished.

So I turned around to find Garroth.

"Lord Y/n, What are you doing up so late? This seems to becoming a common theme for you..."

Garroth asks.

"I guess I'm just missing Levin this much to keep up this nightly habit."

I say giving a shy grin.

"I see... Rest assured that Levin does fantastic while you are away. N-Not to say that he doesn't miss you! Of course he does...while you were gone he asked for you everyday - I even taught him to call you "Auntie" and taught him to call Lord Aphmau "Mama"... I'm just saying he has a lot of people in the village who love and care for him. Everyone makes sure Levin doesn't feel alone without you."

Garroth says reassuringly.

"Thanks Garroth, that means a lot to me."

I say.

"Heh, I-I'm glad...say, Y/n, there's something I want to talk to you about..."

Garroth stuttered.

"I'm all ears."

I say.

"W-well, I was uh...I wanted to...I...Ijust....uh..."

Garroth stutters on.

"W-well, I was thinking... Your smile is very bright in the moonlight and...bright...wait, BRIGHT PORT!"

Garroth says.

"What about Bright Port?"

I ask.

"I almost forgot Bright Port... Lord Y/n, did Azura tell you of Lord Burt and things that had happened in Bright Port?"

Garroth asks.

"Can you remind me?"

I asks.

"Bright Port has been on the edge of war with Pikoro Village. Lord Burt was talked into going to settle the matter there by Zane, under the impression that he'd have the protection from one of the guards from the Jury of Nine... but Azura has not heard one word from Lord Burt since he left - long BEFORE you left with Kiki... Azura asked Laurence and I to check on PIkoro Village should we happen by it..."

Garroth says.

"Hm... Is it close by?"

I ask curiously.
