No One's POV
In the morning you woke up right away to meet with Lord Luke to check if he's doing okay.
You went by his bed side and checked on him.
"Lord Luke are you doing alright?"
She asks.
"Lord Y/n, my estranged daughter tells me of your bravery in not helping her, but myself as well."
Luke speaks.
"What happened to you if you don't mind me asking?"
"I don't recall...one moment I was on a carriage to Bright Port, next thing I know, I'm here in Lucinda's home...it must have something to do with that High Priest...I never should have trusted him."
He became irritated.
"What did he tell you?"
"He...uhm, he wanted Bright Port and Pikoro to make peace in the name of O'khasis and swear our loyalty to him but...it's just not in my peoples best interest...gathering more than a few villages together is asking for trouble...history has taught us that. Ugh! My head..."
He recollected.
"How is your vision?"
I ask.
"My vision? It's erm, it's okay. A little blurry, actually more so than usual...what does that mean?"
He questions.
"Nothing."
"Hm, I should get some rest... I don't know how long Lord Burt and I were out but...it feels like it was a long time. Thank you again, Lord Y/n. Give my thanks to Lord Aphmau as well for taking care of me and Burt, she's really sweet to us. Rest assured, Phoenix Drop and Pikoro will always have good relations for your actions here yesterday.
- Time Skipped -
Y/n sat next to Dante, Aiden and Aphmau, Dante looked worried and so did Aiden who stared into the forest lost in thought.
"Lord Aphmau, Y/n, this alliance...it scares me."
Dante says truthfully.
"Why is that?"
Y/n asks curiously.
"History has taught us that any time villages come together there has always been conflict. Not within the villages themselves but against others...though we are doing this to protect ourselves and those we are about - I just have this bad feeling. After all, that's the way the King, that Lady Irene and Nireneyo defeated and became King...It just irks me.
"I see..."
Y/n says.
"So he became king through alliances?"
Aphmau puts in.
"Maybe, I'm hoping...this time will be different."
Dante says snapping Aiden out of his thoughts and started talking to him.
"I hope so to."
Aphmau giggles at Malachi's sleeping form.
"Malachi? Are you still sleeping?"
Y/n says out loud. Malachi is still out like a light.
Y/n chuckles a little and walks over to Laurence who looks like he's lost in his thoughts.
"Hm..."
"What's on your mind Laurence?"
Y/n asked.
