"Did you talk to her?" Michael asked me the through my phone.

"No. Not yet, I mean I was today but I chickened out. I just, I don't know how to bring it up." I replied as I logged off my computer after playing a few rounds of league with Michael. I looked at the time, 2 am.

"She's you're best friend just casually bring it up."

"I know but she's gonna be upset that I haven't told her about you, then with the whole Twitter thing."

"What Twitter thing?" he asked concern resined in his voice.

"You know everyone still wants to know who the mystery girl is."

"Well fuck them." He said letting out a deep laugh.

"I guess I'll talk to her tomorrow."

"Are you really?"

"Yes Michael I will."

"Good. Well I have to get packed our flight leaves soon."

"Text me when you land so I know you're safe."

"I will. Bye."

"Bye"

Today I had class in Tampa which meant another long drive with the snow birds. Fuck this. I hate this town it sucks. I don't understand why my family decided to move here instead of staying in New Jersey.

I looked over when I heard my phone start ringing. Michael. Of course I would get a call right when I have to merge with all these old shits. "Hello- are you fucking kidding no one is coming merge you shit."

"Hello to you too."

Oh how I just love to hear that sarcasm at 8 in the fucking morning.

"Is that her?" I heard someone whisper in the background.

"Who is that?"

"It's Luke he wanted to hear you're voice."

"Wow what a great first impression he must have of me now." I scoffed as I put my phone on speaker and placed it on the seat next to me.

"Helloooo." Luke yelled into the phone.

"Hello Luke, how's the toast adventure coming along?"

"You told her." I assumed he was yelling a Michael. He laughed and responded "Ya sorry buddy."

"It's going well." He said sounding shyer then before.

"Don't lie to her Luke, he still can't make toast." Michael yelled.

"Michael don't be a shit. Don't worry Luke you'll get it."

"I doubt that." Michael said.

"Michael." I said and the line went silent for a a moment as I finally merged onto the highway.

"She sounds sarcastic like you but nicer, I like her." Luke said thinking I couldn't hear him.

"So I'm guessing you landed safely?" I finally spoke up after finding my exit.

"Ya were all good here, but that's not what I called about."

"Then what did you call about?"

"Well first I wanted to know if you told Lexi? And then I wanted to tell you I sent you the plane tickets and the hotel reservations to your email."

"Wait you did what?"

"I sent you-"

"No ya I got that but I thought I was paying for all that."
