Clouds -> my first ever phanfic

Epilouge: Phil's POV

Dan climbs up the ladder, Phil right behind him as he goes.

They've been together every day since the accident, apparently a officer had shot tramquilizers into the room, knocking out everyone but Phil, who quickly explained the situation and got Dan, Tyler, and himself the hell outta there.

"Why are we going up here?" Phil whines, making Dan crack a smile and resist the urge to look down, he was holding back some serious anxiety right now.

"Suprise," Dan smiles, getting to the top and sitting so he faces the town, legs on either side of the pole connected to the railing.

Phil falls next to him, using the pole so he doesn't pass out from anxiety and feeling Dan instantly grab his hand.

Its been like this since they left the hospital, Dan never getting enough of touching Phil, whether its little arms brushes or stolen kisses.

Phil gazes over the little town, a mix of unease turning his stomach. Looking over the town reminds him of all the things that have happend.

Looking back at his life, Phil slowly relizes he wouldn't change a damn thing about his life. Meeting Dan was the best moment of his life and for some reason Phil feels its right now to start asking the deep questions.

"What are we going to do after we graduate?" Phil asks, thinking over his question carefully and resting his arms over the railing. Setting his head sideways on it to face Dan.

Deep in thought, Dan happily smiles when his answer comes to mind."We can do anything, anything, you'd like. I will follow you to the ends of the earth Phillip Lester."

Phil rolls his eyes but smiles at the obviously bounced back question."I've always wnated to make people happy, and before all this I actually made a youtube video. Didn't even have time to check feedback." Phil sadly shrugs, still broken up yet quickly healing from what had happend to him. Dan had found him, but that doesn't stop his mind from freaking out on him sometimes.

"Youtube videos? I never thought of that." Dan sounds impressed and it makes Phil smile."Your going to be great at them, I can tell, and we can work at the station too, maybe move to a big city, I'd like a change of pace from here actualy."

Dan blushes at his sudden ramble and Phil just smiles fondly."We could do all of that."

"Really?" Dan's eyes light up and he happily stares into the distance.

"Let me show you something," Dan says out of the blue, turning to Phil with a face breaking grin.

Dan streched his arms out like a bird, signalling Phil to do the same, which he begrungingly does.

"Close your eyes," Dan says and Phil obliges.

The feeling is so different from anything else, its happy, light feeling that causes the wind to blow through Phils hair and the smell of air to fill Phils lungs and make him sigh.

Next to him Dan does the same and they feel everything slowly melt away.

The relize something in that moment, that they could do anythig together and still be the happiest people in the world.

Unison sighs cause them to giggle but they don't open their eyes.

Because in that moment, they feel free, graceful, and more alive than ever.

Phil intertwines his fingers with Dan's and happily feels Dan squeze lightly.

And in that moment, they swear they can fly.
