In catelona and planning to ruin lives (Mel's Pov)

I check the time and then text ben, 'Is everyone with you?' Three dots appear before the answer, 'yes. What's going on?' 'Face time with everyone' I reply and soon the ringtone for face time rings out and ben's icon appears. I answer it. Before everyone can start talking in a jumbled mess I say, "Listen first, we don't have much time." And when they don't speak I continue. 

"I'm in a limo with audrey. Leah is transferring us to home studies, that means that she's still trying to marry me to felix. I have a bunch of dirt on leah, felix and his father." I explain and then dish all of the dirt on each person, out to them. "Now, you all know what isle kids do with the dirt they're given?" I ask with a smirk and the isle kids nod with smirks equally wide. "Good, ruin their lives back home, I'll start ruining them where I'm heading and hopefully I can be back soon. Violet, amore, and yzla still run that gossip blog that everyone in auradon reads, get everything on there and we'll be good to go. In the mean time don't try and come get me, and don't do anything stupid while trying to." I say and they agree. 

I hang up and audrey is looking at me with a slight smirk. "I'm impressed, you isle kids really aren't something to be crossed are you? You do realize ben is going to try to get you back to auradon with a plan he comes up with on his own right?" Audrey muses. "I know, that's why I asked for them not to do anything stupid while trying, because I know each of them will try. Only hope ben won't get hurt or in trouble from it." I say with the shake of my head. The limo stops and the door opens to felix. He offers a hand and audrey takes it with a subtle wink in my direction as I help myself out. "Welcome to Catelona princesses. I hope you find it to your liking as you'll be here for a while." He says and audrey nods but I make no indication I've heard him. "Ah right on schedule, Princesses these will be your ladies in waiting. Gretta is princess audrey's and Chelsea is yours melrose." He continues as two women in the same uniform and hairstyle come walking up. They both curtsey low in front of us. "Your highnesses." They say in unison and then rise.

"See it isn't gonna be so bad here in catelona, you've got a lady in waiting melrose." Leah says and I see her walking towards us. "I don't feel the need to have a lady in waiting back home I've got Mrs. Potts and Lumiere to help me with anything that I can't do, and my friends to help me with my makeup and hair when I have important events." I say stressing home and friends "Melrose this is your home now, and you'd do well to know that a proper princess has a lady in waiting. What do you call yourself girl?" She questions, addressing chelsea. "Chelsea your highness." She answers with the same curtsey. "She'll be fine for your first lady in waiting. Since the schedule is thrown off, we're meeting with the person who is going to officiate your marriage next tuesday at noon, you're getting married at the end of next month." Leah says and then turns and leaves. Grandpa stefan comes over and gives me an apologetic look before telling the driver of the limo we were in where to park. He then follows leah up to the castle. 

"Melrose, I can show you to your room." Felix offers and I turn to chelsea. "Chelsea, will you show me to my room?" I ask and she blushes and looks at felix uncertainty. "It's alright chelsea, she asked you to escort her, you don't need my permission." Felix tells her, tone a little hurt. "Your highness, follow me please." Chelsea says and starts walking up to the castle. "Please call me mel." I tell her as I follow along. "I... I don't think I'm allowed to your highness." She say. "Oh." I say dumbly. Gretta catches up to chelsea and starts to walk beside her, so I walk beside audrey. "You directly ignored felix, that's a level of petty I aspire to be." She says with a giggle. 

Felix is still standing in the spot we left him in, looking at us with a dumbfounded expression on his face. They lead us to a hallway right next to the dining room and puts us in rooms that are next to each other, they show us there is a door connecting the rooms so that we can go in and out of each others rooms if we wanted. "Dinner will be served in the dining hall at eight, and King felix has thrown a feast and a ball in celebration of your arrival. Let me dress you appropriately." Chelsea tells me when gretta leads audrey back to her room and shuts the door. She pulls out a copper colored poofy monstrosity. "Do you like it? It's in the kings color, your grandmother sent over your measurements months in advance so we could prepare you clothes." She says and I make a face.
