The Pushy Two-Headed Sales-Woman

Annie smiled as she watched as they flew over Spaceport, she leaned against the railing as she looked at all the various types of markets and homes were there in wonder. It never ceases to amaze me every time I come here, she thought. Jim was standing behind her and staring in wonder as her blonde hair flew through the wind, he had a small barley noticeable smile as he shouldered his duffle bag over his shoulder and walked over to her.

Annie gasped and took a step back stumbled back as a ship flew over their small fairy, she felt a hard chest and looked behind her and found Jim staring down at her in amusement.

"Are you okay?" Jim asked as Annie stood straight and gave him a small smile.

"I'm fine thank you for asking." She told him and that's when they heard a ship-mate yell out to everyone aboard the fairy.

"Now docking Spaceport! Everyone off!"

"Are you excited about this expedition Jim?" Annie questioned as she lifted her own bag and put it around her shoulders so it laid on her hip.

Jim chuckled and nodded his head as he tried to act cool to try and impress her.

"I guess you can say that." He stopped for a moment and looked into hee excited eyes as he asks her running his fingers through his brown hair. "What about you?"

"I can't wait! I mean we're finding....." She stops then trails off into a whisper. "You know what!"

Annie smiled happily smiled at Jim and Jim gave a small smile back, somehow he felt that he should make her smile at him like that all the time. They stared at each other for a few minutes in silence as other passengers started leaving the fairy and onto the docking bay. Suddenly out of no-where Doctor Delbert Doppler appeared in between the two as he exclaimed excitedly bouncing on the heels of his feet, and he looked between the two teenagers.

"Are you kids excited about this! Because I sure am!"

Jim quickly looked away from Annie and now Doctor Delbert Doppler as he cleared his throat awkwardly, Annie rubbed her right arm with her left hand as she glanced nervously and slightly confused at the ground. Jim noticed that everyone was leaving the fairy and only a few people were left that were getting off, he raised his right arm and scratched the back of his neck while jabbing his thumb with his left hand towards the exit. He awkwardly suggested to the two he was traveling with.

"I think we should probably get off now."

"Yes, of course." Annie agreed quickly trying to get out of this awkward situation.

They both began to walk towards the exit, Annie ahead of Jim and Jim trailing right behind her. Doctor Delbert Doppler stood there highly confused about what had just happened, he scratched his head in confusion as he whispered to himself.

"Did I say or do something wrong?"

Doctor Delbert Doppler then notices how ahead the two teenagers were and scrambled after them as he called out to the two of them.

"Wait up Jim! Annie!"

The three board off of the fairy and Annie guided her traveling companions into the busy streets of Spaceport, they passed various shops that held nick-nacks to exotic animals. You could smell the exotic food and see the bright and different cultures it had to offer you, vendors and salespeople trying to get you to buy their items. Annie stopped at a two-headed sales-woman with a beautiful royal blue and green dress, she saw the most beautiful galaxy necklace that hung on a gold chain.

"The galaxy necklace is supposed to show which galaxy you'rere always in." The second head with the blue eyes in the blue dress stated to Annie

Annie smiled kindly at the second head of the two headed-sales-woman, she picked up the golden chain and looked into the full-length mirror they had and put it up to her neck. Annie stared at the necklace in deep thought wondering whether or not to get it, she didn't notice that Jim was right behind her in the mirror and staring at her with eyes that held amusement in them.

"Sir! You would look dashing in this space suit!" The first head with green eyes and a green dress sewed in with the blue exclaimed to the doctor in fake enthusiasm.

She held up a suit of yellow as her second arm on her side still held up the grey metal parts of the suit. Doctor Delbert Doppler stood there with a slight blush on his cheeks for being even called dashing, he then stuttered out nervously.

"Why would I really?"

"Yes of course!" The first head stated with a wide smile on her face for seeing a new customer. "Isn't that right dear sister." She added on.

The second head with blue eyes turned to the doctor with the same smile on her face, she was also happy for another customer since Annie had already purchased the necklace.

"Yes, do come change into it, good sir." She suggested as she made a gesture to the changing rooms just behind the two-headed sales-woman.

"Yes, this way sir." The first one added on as she pushed the suit into the doctor's hands and the two-headed sales-woman started pushing him into the changing rooms.

Doctor Delbert Doppler turned his head to face the two teenagers who stood watching in amusement, as he called out the two of them.

"Please do stay in this area until I'm done!"

"Of course Doctor Doppler!" Annie agreed as she gave him a small wave as the door to the changing room slammed in his face. She turned to Jim and then suggested to him. "Would you want to go visit other stalls and stores while we wait?"

"Yes, before that pushy two-headed sales-woman suggest us to buy a suit like that," Jim stated seriously yet jokingly at the same time as he saw the sales-woman eyeing the two of them. Jim looked down and saw the galaxy necklace and he smiled as he said turned around and started walking away from the shop. "The necklace suits you by the way."

"Thank you," Annie says with a small shy smile on her face as she glanced at the ground then back at him.

She then giggles as she realizes what Jim had said about the sales-woman, and Jim just chuckled as they turn to go see other stalls. They both turned as they began leaving behind the unknowing Doctor Delbert Doppler to purchase something that didn't really suit him.
