Lost and Found

Everyone looked at Matt in horror, even Edd. 'Matt! What did you just do?' Edd asked with a shocked expression on his face.
'You see Edd, I didn't harm her, I'm just giving her a chance here.' Matt replied his voice now cold.
'I'm going to kill you!' Tord and Yuki cried in unison. Yuki felt tears prick her eyes as she tackled Matt to the floor, she was going to kill him there and then.
'Wait!' Edd shouted causing Yuki to look up at him in confusion.
'Who's side are you on here?'
'Look, if you kill him we may not be able to undo what he did to Violet. We need him alive so he can reverse whatever it is that he injected into her.' Edd explained.

Yuki could see his point and slowly got off of Matt, she glared at him the entire time though. Violet lay on the floor almost completely still, to everyone except Matt she looked dead. Edd scowled at Matt. 'Can you undo what you did to her?'
'I could but I don't want to.'
'How could you do that to her, you guys were becoming friends, she respected you. She looked up to YOU!'
'No, Edd, she didn't. She didn't look up to me, she probably just looked down on me just like everyone else does. She was the enemy, I tolerated  her I never actually liked her. She won't be for long though, maybe now we will get the chance to become friends.'
'Y-you're crazy!'
'Am I, Edd? Or am I the only sane person here?'
'Fuck you, Matt! I really thought you a nice person but you're really only a monster.'
'I'll take that as compliment.' Matt replied smugly.

Violet looked around her, she wasn't anywhere she recognised. Everything was moving around her, flowing like water, colour bouncing and reflecting from every side. It was beautiful but it was also terrifying, she was alone here, trapped like a bird in a cage. Violet heard whispers behind her, she certainly wasn't alone. She turned around to locate the source of the whispering, only to discover a group of humanoid shadows. They looked like her friends; Tord, Yuki, Tristan, Tom, Edd and Matt. She couldn't make out what they were saying and even when she shouted to them trying to get their attention, they couldn't hear her either.
Violet sat down, brought her head to her knees and cried until it hurt.

It had been hours since Violet first lost  consciousness but she still hasn't stirred once. Until Yuki pointed out a single tear running down her face, she ran over to her and tried talking to her. Tord gently put a hand on her shoulder and shook his head. 'Stop, Yuki. It's not going to work.'
'It will! It has to!' Yuki said with a great deal of determination. Yuki went back to talking to Violet, telling her about everything even if she couldn't hear her. "Maybe if I did this long enough, Violet will come back to us." Yuki thought.

She didn't have to wait long because after five minutes, Violet's eyes fluttered open and she sat up, rubbing her head. 'God, that was horrible!' Violet muttered to no one in particular. Yuki squeezed Violet and took her by surprise, she was that shocked her wings shot out from behind her. Yuki stared at them in shock, her wings weren't black and purple anymore. They were now white and a lighter shade of purple. What happened to them? Violet looked amongst them all and smiled, she then frowned and asked: 'Where is Matt? He said he would see me before I left.'

Everyone looked at Violet like she was crazy.
'Are you nuts?' Tristan and Yuki asked her.
'Why on Earth would you want to see him!?"  Tord shouted at her.
'He's my friend, he made me feel welcome here.' Violet replied simply.
Edd looked at her sadly and shook his head.
'He isn't your friend Violet. He has injected something  into you.'
Violet couldn't believe her ears, how could they say that about Matt. Matt was her friend, he has only ever been nice to her from the start and now everyone is telling her he's bad.
'No! No, you're wrong. You're are lying to me!' Tears pricked her eyes and started to fall.
'Violet, we are telling the truth.' Edd said kindly.
Violet couldn't help herself anymore, she always bottled her feelings up, she just broke down and cried until she fell asleep in Tord and Yuki's arms.
