Tord's Red Army

Tord was driving with Violet, still sleeping in the passenger seat. He would go back for Yuki, she had unfinished business to attend to. Tristan and Edd sat in the back, fooling around. How he missed the good old days, when everyone got along before any of this happened but if it never happened, he may have never met Violet and she would still be alone. He glanced over at her when she had moved in her sleep, she was now facing him. 'Tord, are we back yet?'
'Not quite, little sister, now rest your head. You've had a long day.'
'Yeah, of doing nothing. When we get back I'm patrolling those grounds until my legs give in!'

Tord laughed at her statement, "typical Violet always moving." He thought as Violet joined in with Edd and Tristan's conversation. It was good to have Violet back to her old self and now her wings and tail were going back to normal. She was his happy, hyper little sister again. Then he was thinking about Yuki, he may not need to go back for her because she'll probably fly back when she's finished.

Back at the Base, Violet and Edd were greeted with a whole lot of handshakes and hugs. Tord had planned a surprise party for them and their return but "When did he even have the time for this?" Violet thought. She didn't see him leaving or talking to anyone and Edd seemed just as surprised as she did, so he clearly had no idea either. Yuki was "dealing" with Matt, whatever that meant - she was going to kill him, Violet knew that much but she didn't know how - she was; A) going to drown him, B) going to electrocute him, or C) burn him alive. Violet wasn't even too sure if Yuki was going to far or not.

As the night went on Violet started talking to other troops within the Army, she actually made a connection with someone, her name was Rachel. She was just an amazing person to talk to, she was the type that could inspire the hearts of many. She actually made Violet feel good, which never really happened often. Violet introduced Yuki to Rachel and the talked and joked together until nightfall. Edd and Tord were chatting together and with their troops. They were going to merge their forces together to form one big Army, they both missed the way they used to be and wanted to be friends again. They both had the same enemies, which made it even more logical to merge the troops together.

At nightfall Tord had another surprise planned, the night sky was lit up with fireworks of all colours. Violet was amazed at the sight, she had never seen fireworks before. She ran to Tord and gave him a huge hug, causing Edd to laugh at the adorable "family moment". Rachel had brought one of her friends along and introduced him to Violet. His name was "Shadow" or at least that is what he preferred to be called. Tord had the canteen workers bring a banquet of food outside and everyone ate their dinner under the stars.

Just before the all parted for the night, Tord had one last surprised planned for Violet and her friends. He was taking them to her favourite place, the Twilight Lake - that was Violet's name for it - She had always went there to finish off any good memory that she wanted to remember. It was Rachel and Shadow's first time being at the lake, to which Violet thought she'd celebrate with a water fight. They had a great time, granted they were soaking wet by the end of it but they didn't care, they were too happy to. When they had gotten back to the Base, they parted ways and bid each other goodnight. Violet made sure to give Yuki a bear hug before settling down for the night.
