Yuki, Rachel and Tord had been sitting in the waiting room for hours now, the girls had cried themselves to sleep and Tord now felt like he could cry, just until they woke up, which he did. He rarely cried but this was an exceptional case, how did he not know Violet was suffering? He thought he knew her so well, he thought that he was the person who understood her the most especially since he knew everything about her past. How could he not see what she was going through?

The nurse walked in to the waiting room and signaled for Tord to come into the room Violet was in. She looked like an angel undercover, her horns sparkled like polished Ivory and her fur was letting off a dull glow. Her skin was pale, paler than it was already, Tord felt her forehead and it felt like ice. She couldn't be dead though because she was still breathing but barely. Tord almost choked at this but managed to get a hold on himself, the girls walked in moments later having woke up from their nap and gasped at the sight of Violet.

Yuki was right over by her side in a second, talking to her and holding her left hand. Rachel sat next to Yuki talking to Violet as well, they took it in turns to say something to her. At one point Yuki had tears forming in her eyes and asked 'Why didn't you tell us dummy? We could have help you, you know?' Rachel rested a hand on Yuki's shoulder and smiled weakly. Tord then walked over to Violet and held her right hand. He started singing a song in Norwegian which Yuki and Rachel joined in too.

'(I know, I know, I know, I know that's how it happens)

(I know, I know, I know, I know I shouldn't think about it anymore)

(But I want to hear someone say that too)

(It has to go over)
Det skal gå over

(And I've seen all this before I know how it goes)

(It goes the way it does when you are afraid of what you do not understand)

(But I want to hear someone say that too)

(It has to go over)
Det skal gå over

(I know, I know, I know, I know that one day)
Jeg vet, jeg vet, jeg vet, jeg vet at en dag

(If we still remember it is just vague)

(But I want to hear someone say that too)

(This has to go over)
Det skal gå over'

Violet heard them singing, she didn't want to stop them by letting them know she had woken up, so lay there with her eyes shut until they had stopped. She waited ten seconds before sitting up. 'Det var vakkert.' (That was beautiful.)
She sighed. She kind of wished she didn't because all of them squashed her into a giant group hug, she laughed at them and hugged them back. She looked at them all and asked nervously 'Kunne du synge meg en annen?' (Could you sing me another?)
They all smiled at her and nodded their heads, they all sung "Natten - Morten Harket" together.

A week later Violet was discharged from the medical base, she cursed Tord and his overprotective-ness (Don't care if it's not a word. It is now!) again. Violet was walking past Tom's room when she heard voices, it was Tom and Paul's voices she was hearing. She could only make out Tom saying 'I'm pregnant!' before they started talking in worried, hushed tones. "Tord doesn't know about this" Violet thought "Why is Tom keeping it a secret?" She hurried back to her room to try and forget about what she'd heard.

To my Norwegian speaking friend, this is a special chapter for you!
