Harry's pov

As the clock struck midnight on my birthday, a pain exploded all over my back, spreading around my body. The pain was too much to handle, so I passed out. When I woke, there was a heavyweight on my back. As I look into the mirror, I see a pair of dark skeletal wings and a dragon-like tail. Suddenly, a fierce owl deposited a letter on my bed; the seal was instantly recognisable. It was from Gringotts. What do the goblins want with me? Slowly I opened the envelope, and two pieces of paper fell out.

Dear Mr Potter

It has become aware that you have come into a creature inheritance. Enclosed in this letter are your birth certificate and your bank statements.
If you have any inquires about any of the information, please use the letter portkey and ask for goblin Ragnook.

Curious, I slowly prepared myself for the day, putting my Hogwarts robe on to cover my wings and speaking the password. Suddenly a hook attached itself around my navel, and I landed in the main hall of Gringotts.

As a Gringotts goblin led me into a private room, I kept admiring the medieval weapons on the wall.
"Mr potter if you could place 7 drops of blood on this piece of parchment."
My blood began to change into the ink as I did, forming words that would explain why it is essential that I am here. The parchment was formed into three different pieces; the first was two different birth certificates.

Fuming, I requested that all the blocks be taken off. Stepping into the chamber lit dimly with torches, and in the very centre, there was a rune on the floor. I was instructed to sit in the centre and drink a bubbling lavender potion; as soon as I threw the potion vial away, many goblins walked into the chamber and started to chant. I could feel magic pulling on my body, then there was a defining crack, and the chamber glowed in this golden light as I felt my body change. I grew taller, and muscle formed all over my chest and arms. My hair grew longer and fell in waves to my shoulders. Finally, I hear a ripping sound. I looked back and saw a pair of the darkest black skeletal wing attached to my shoulder blades. As soon as the chanting stopped, I felt my canines get longer and sharper, and two horns grow on my head.

I left Gringotts with a portkey to riddle manor where my father was. In knokturn alley, I slipped into a clothing store where I had a whole new wardrobe made and burned Dudley's hand-me-down. At last, I was dressed in the finest silk suit. I portkeyed to my father's place. The next thing I knew was that at least 100 wands pointed I had interrupted a death eater meeting.
I felt a finger at my chin, forcing me to look into the dark lord's eyes. To my surprise, he looked only ten years older than the diary version and nothing like the snakehead version. A smirk appeared on my face as I saw the faintest trace of recognition on his face "hello father."
