The room was deafeningly silent, despite the raging war above it.
Not even insects dared venture this far into Avicii-as if they could enter his cell, anyway. They had sealed it too tightly for even the smallest of creatures to enter.
It was just as well. The man sealed in the room, restrained in black binds couldn't care less about visitors-except for one person...
He should be entering just about now, actually... He mused. He'd been keeping close watch on this individual's reitsu movement, and knew that the person was nearing.
Sure enough, the door swung open, revealing a burly man in the clothes of a Quincy-the figure could only be the infamous Juha Bach.
"Well, hello," He said as he entered.
The prisoner returned a small nod, and the bonds obscuring his mouth loosened.
"Hello, Juha Bach," He greeted coolly, "To what do I owe the pleasure?"
"I've come bearing a proposal," Bach began, "A proposal for your release."
"'Release, hmm?" He murmured.
"In return for your cooperation, I'll free you from Avicii," He continued, "You would be quite an asset to our forces."
"You require my assistance to cut down the Soul Society?" The bound man interjected.
"I don't require it," Juha stated firmly, "But someone such as you shouldn't be wasted, rotting away in a prison."
"You speak of my servitude..." He mused,"But, you should know that I serve no one."
"Indeed, that is true..."
"Yes," He replied passively, "But, I wish you well."
"Thank you."
"Give the Captains my regards," The man smirked even as he said it, "The Kurosaki boy, also."
"Ah," Juha nodded, a gleam in his eye, "Indeed I will."
Juha gave a last nod and left, closing the door behind him.
The brown haired man smiled to himself.
Hypnosis was an amusing thing, indeed...
Juha wasn't aware of it yet, but more time had passed here than he knew.
Aizen supposed he had given the soul reapers a bit of a hand, but whether that was intentional or not, he'd keep to himself.
The rest of the black binds fell from his body, and walked out.
He sought his way silently through the hallways and corridors, careful not to draw attention.
It took awhile to reach the exit-he would've used shunpo, but didn't want to draw attention by using unnecessary reitsu.
He went as fast as possible however, zipping past many guards without their notice-while those who did...
The guards at the doors barely had time to turn before they were cut down by the man's stolen blade.
He stepped out into the sunlight, then covered his eyes, blinded from being not only blindfolded but in the dark for so long. He finally flash-stepped away from all the carnage, glancing to see what was left.
Lady Luck had not smiled upon the shinigami.
He opened a Garganta, and gave a last look at the dismal place.
So much of the once-mighty Soul Society laid in ruins, with ghastly amounts of wreckage strewn about.
The stench of death and war lied heavily on the air, so much that it could choke a person.
He shook his head, and stepped in.
The Garganta silently closed behind him.
Author's Note; Hello! I know this seems to be a bit inaccurate with the manga. I kept it this way for those who haven't caught up yet. But, I also have a way for bringing it full-circle, so don't smack me with tomatoes and rotten fruit just yet D:"
Also, I'd be happy to hear what you think, or to answer any questions throughout the story. And I'd like to see any writing pointers you might have for me. ^__^
Thanks for the read/vote!
