Two Faces, One Man

Who we are ,what we become, are 2 different people,

Like an Eagle, we either fly or we die, whether we come to,

The realization that this life is all that's left,

A path of good direction, no matter where our heart is kept.

No one of our skill set is equal,

Not one has the same talent,

Whatever we do , our challenges are faced with a plan,

Life has two faces, but is all one man.

There's a side for the good, who see the best in everyone,

Where fun and success is made by our grit and determination,

Working hard to lay the roads for the next generation.

Often times, we hear these encouragements, yet we never truly listen,

These roads made by who want us to glisten,

To be happy, find the things we love,

Floating like peace, but better yet a dove.

It will never seem easy, but you can only do what you can,

Life has two faces, but is all one man.

There's a side of evil, in which we don't want to reside,

But the easy way so close, yet leaves us behind,

We suffer from it, we think we're living when we're actually dying,

It tears us apart, sometimes to the extent of suicide.

Pain causes suffering, and suffering causing misery,

Misery loves company, but all we can do is keep giving,

A flashlight for the darkness, get them out of the woods,

Don't be meek, you'll treat them better than okay,

Changing from dreary, to a bright sunny day.

I hope you can believe in what you want to achieve,

That I've given you something you can handle,

To be able to take the mantle, sometimes fly away like Peter Pan,

But life has two faces,  yet it's only one man.
