Keep On

Everything's shut down, there's not much in the towns to do, Some are stuck to themselves or their families,

With no cure, times continue to grow scary,

Some choose to remain safe, while others take a risk,

The unknown is the most unpredictable,  life or death is always in the midst.

Often times we choose how we keep on, content with content or our loved ones,

But there are some who won't listen, they argue because of paranoia,

Locked in homes for several weeks, some by choice, others more strict,

But how do we know the outcomes, with a virus coming so swift?

Life and Death at every turn,

Select groups are ignorant and will never learn,

But all we can do is adapt, that's how the human race  has survived,

Take advantage of what we can, continue to thrive.

So while our times seem so bleak, our own morale, some strong or weak,

Must push through, run the races of time, like a marathon,

The unemployment, scarce resources, the troubles will be gone,

Only move forward, just keep on
