Observations

The things I see are like a scale, at least for the most part with balance,

We rise and we fall, succeed and fail,

The healed and the malice.

An angel of hope surrounded by a dark veil,

A ship sailing into a foggy night,

Where 2 roads go either, left or right,

Today I realize that regrets are my enemy,

They bring me down, tear me apart, some of which hurt my family.

Sometimes it was direct, but often indirect,

My goals still remain unclear,

Yet everyone else seems to figure it out, I wish to receive assistance,

From a distance, everyone seems ok,

But when you talk with someone, they may be having a bad day.

Life is like a cake, different ingredients, sometimes good or terrible,

Some highlights could be icing, sweet and incredible.

But other parts could be bitter, and distasteful,

Especially when those met are the ones who are ungrateful.

Take caution in what you speak, before you make a proclamation,

Sometimes it's best to sit back, make some observations.
