With life, we have death,
From our first, to last breath,
But we learn and grow in different ways,
We can feel sad, our days are numbered.
But we can learn from these tragedies and make them strength,
Love is forever powerful, but tragedy helps the memory,
When we lose ourselves to our egos, keeps us from forgetting,
To strive, overcome, reveals truth in our lies,
We'll come from the ashes, like the phoenix, rise.
Be who you want, this life is all we got,
Our story is told every day, regardless,
Of the time or spot,
So make tragedy your strength, live and learn,
We have to have a foundation before we can build our skyscrapers,
We have to break a light bulb before we get it right,
Falter, before you become the light.
