Raising his fists up in a defensive stance, Yeonjun spreads his legs apart in order to keep his balance. "Come at me."

Seonjae immediately rushes towards the 20-year-old, arms raised to tackle him down. Let's say that it was worth a try. Yeonjun blocks the attack and trips his opponent by sweeping one of his legs behind him.

"You're getting up? Don't know when to stop, huh?" Soobin, who's watching the two fight, feels scared and is about to cry. As Yeonjun is about to inflict a blow at Seonjae, he tries to stop the conflict and runs in between them.

And gets hit in the head.

...what's going on?

Soobin sits up in a bed, observing his surroundings, recognising it as the nurse's office. Immediately he feels a stinging pain in the back of his head. Soobin reaches his hand to the pain and feels the rough texture of bandages instead of hair.

"Oh, you're finally awake! How are you feeling? Does it still hurt?" the faint voice of their school nurse echoes slightly in his ear.

"Wha..?" he barely manages to form words. "You poor thing. Why don't you rest for a while, and when you're better, we'll talk, okay?" she smiles widely at him before walking off to who knows where.

Groaning in pain, Soobin puts his head back onto the pillow and tries to remember what had happened. He only recalls a single voice calling his name before he fell unconscious.

"Soobin-!" Yeonjun managed to yell after realising that he had just hit his precious little bunny. "Oh my god, someone call the teachers! Anybody!" Immediately everyone who was watching the fight ran to the school building.

"Oh shit... what have I done?" Yeonjun put his head in his hands and started to tear up. "It's his fault he decided to jump in even after seeing that it wasn't possible to stop you from fighting me." Seonjae said nonchalantly and picked at his nails.

"...you.." before he knew it, the blue haired male was at his neck. "You motherfucker.. you were the one that started all this, and you even have the nerve to blame me.." choking sounds could be heard. "Let..let go of me.."

"And why the fuck should I?"

"CHOI YEONJUN!" Yeonjun snapped out of his world and blinks a few times. "Uh.. yes?" The principal, Mr. Kim Namjoon, sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose. "I was asking you why you attempted to strangle Seonjae." he gestures over to a bleeding and bruised boy who was muttering curses under his breath.

"He started it! I-" "I asked you a question, right? Answer me." Yeonjun crosses his arms and slouches in his seat. "He was picking on me and Soobin and saying that we were together.." he trails off. "Isn't that a trivial matter? It's harmless teasing, that isn't a good reason to start a huge mess." Mr. Kim tells him.

"You're on his side? Seriously?" Yeonjun, now shocked and frustrated, bursts out. "Now, Mr. Choi, take a seat and we will-" "DON'T 'TAKE A SEAT' ME!" he yells, voice breaking, before running out of the office, not forgetting to slam the door behind him.

He runs to the nurse's office, sure that Soobin would be there. He also wonders why he's such an idiot, not thinking and starting a fight without considering his friends' feelings. Now the chances of him and Soobin getting together was nonexistent, he was sure.

Opening the door, he steps into the room and looks around. Yeonjun finds him curled up into a ball in his sleep, eyes shut tight. The boy looks like the perfect spooning material. Carefully sitting onto the bed, he notices the bandages wrapped around his head and his lips turn down.

Did I really do that?

Yeonjun gently caresses the injured parts of Soobin's head, muttering apologies to him under his breath. "I'm so sorry, it's my fault that you're hurt.. please forgive me.." the dried tears from the principal's office started coming again, rolling down Yeonjun's cheeks and all over his face.

"I didn't want it to end like this.. I love you a lot.." the words tumbled out before he could stop them. His hand immediately goes to his mouth and his eyes widen. "..sorry.." he gets up to leave with shaking knees. Barely managing to get to the door, he glances back one more time and sees Soobin getting up slowly. Yeonjun gasps and quickly leaves the office.

"Uh..?" Soobin looks at the door weirdly. It just opened and closed itself. "What the heck.. am I hallucinating or something?" he shakes his head, immediately regretting it after the waves of pain shot into it, and decides that he was imagining things.

"Are you okay to talk?" The nurse asks Soobin kindly. "Yeah, sure." he replies, getting off the bed and following her to a room with a table and two chairs. "Is this some kind of interrogation?" The nurse laughs lightly and shakes her head. "I'll be sending Mr. Kim in. He will be asking you questions." she says before leaving the room.

I had some kind of dream just now. Somebody told me that they loved me.. wonder who it was?

Soobin's deep in thought until a loud cough could be heard. "Choi Soobin?" The boy immediately gets up and bows to his elder respectfully. "Sorry, seonsaengnim." "It's alright, sit down now. So.." he clears his throat again and continues. "..I was told that you got hit by a boy called Choi Yeonjun?"

Soobin's eyes widened. "My Hyung would never do that to me, he's my best friend." he tells the principal. "Well, the witnesses say that he did, so I'm guessing that he had hit you on accident, while fighting with another student. Is that right?" Soobin considers this.

"Yeah, that could be it too.. but seonsaengnim, he'd never hit me on purpose! Please don't punish him for hitting me." he gets up and bows again, shoulders starting to shake. "I.. I guess you wanted to step in and stop, so it doesn't count as hitting you on purpose. But he did hurt Seonjae, so he still has to receive punishment."

After the whole ordeal, Soobin is sent back home to heal his injuries. On the way, he wonders what would have happened if he didn't try to stop them.

He also wonders why Yeonjun had to make that into such a big deal. Everyone knew that they were just friends, so what did it matter?
