This is nothing compared to It Just Happened

Most of the time, getting your heart broken again isn't as bad as the times before. In fact, you get more used to it and start to expect every person you meet to do the same.

In this case, somebody has unfortunately succumbed to yet another one and is now extremely crushed and broken.

You might try to kill him and he wouldn't even bat an eye. Factually, he could even ask you to end it quickly.

"It's not the end of the world."

"It's just a small matter."

"It isn't of any significance."

He would always reply with a 'yeah', or an 'okay', even though it still brought him great pain. But this time, things are contradictory.

I'm not even going to bother anymore. What's the point?

The door stays shut, locked. The boy sits on the bed, curled up into a ball and facing the only way out of his room.

And why? What was the cause?

Because I'm too fucking sensitive. That's the reason why I'm this pitiful thing that does nothing but be such an idiotic joke.

Isn't that right?

"What's wrong with me?" he asks out loud. "Seriously, what is wrong with me?" It comes out strangled and forced, unsuccessfully trying to cover up those stupid, weak tears.

He wipes them away.

Don't cry, Yeonjun. Don't cry. It only makes you weaker and more vulnerable.

And to think he trusted him, of all people. Yeonjun sighs at his own stupidity. Why would he trust anyone, let alone a random guy he met on the street?

Or maybe, it was just himself. His sensitive, naïve, weak self. All he ever did was cry. Happiness isn't in his vocabulary anymore.

And trust? Who can he possibly tell everything to? It isn't like he's rich enough to hire a therapist. Guess he'll just have to keep everything bottled up again, like all the times before.

There really was nobody to go to.

"Soobin? Where did you go?" the tall boy's mother emerged from a room, looking worried. "Ah, Eomma, it's nothing. I just went with some friends to-" "Aigoo, Soobin-ah! Where's your bandage? You can't go out, you know that. You're still recovering!" she walks over and puts her hands on her hips, obviously unhappy about the situation.

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry. I won't do it again. Promise." Soobin pats his mother's shoulder and smiles. She sighs and raises a hand to her forehead. "It's alright. But still, I was worried about you. Anyway, what were you and those new friends of yours doing?"

"Ah.." he hesitates. Should he really tell his mother what had happened? What if she wouldn't love him anymore? What if she kicks him out? Or worse,

What if she disowns him?

Quickly, he answers. "We were just hanging out at a mall, nothing much, just window shopping." "Oh? You don't usually do that though." the woman stares into his eyes. "Are you lying to me?"
