WHOS THE BLUEBERRY NOW
___________________________

"I'll have an iced americano, please!" Yeonjun happily tells the taken aback waitress, who nodded and quickly made her way back. Soobin looks at him and smiles. It had been days since he'd seen him this happy, his curved eyes when he grins, and his pearly teeth shining when he smiles.

The older turns around and rests his face in his hands, swinging his legs back and forth happily. "Soobinnie~ aren't you going to order anything? Or are you too busy looking at mee??" Yeonjun giggles at the end. True, Soobin had been looking at him smiling and being happy again, but Yeonjun seemed sort of drunk, for some reason.

"I'm not really that hungry, so I guess I'll share the drink with you." he replies, pushing his bangs out of his face. "Ah, okay, okay. I can share with you, of course!" the blue haired cheerfully says and drums his fingers on the table, looking at Soobin with sparkly eyes. "Oh, there's something I've been meaning to ask you. Why did you dye your hair?"

The younger looked confused for a second, but then remembers that he had pink hair. "Oh, I felt a little adventurous that day, so I decided to dye it a bright colour." he suddenly goes to cover his head. "D-does it look ugly on me?" he asks nervously. "No, no! It suits you very well, Binnie. It's like couple hair, I have blue and you have pink. Opposites attract, right?" he says, patting Soobin's forearm.

"Really? You sure it doesn't ruin my image?" he asks anxiously, leaning forward. "It doesn't. You are very-" he presses the tip of his nose gently. "-cute." he finishes with a gush. "Aish, Hyung. I'm not really that cute." he rolls his eyes with a smile and sets his hands down, intertwining them with Yeonjun's. His hands grip them back tightly, and they stare at each other for a while, before getting back to the real world. They realise what they were doing, and both look away embarrassed.

Meanwhile, the rest of their friends sat in a far away table, covering their faces with newspapers dating back from who knows when. "They're so cute, don't you think?" Taehyun's rare smile appeared and he looks over to Hueningkai, who had initiated the conversation. "I'm just glad Yeonjun-Hyung is happy. It's been a while since I've seen him smile." Beomgyu looks over at him, sipping his coffee slowly. "Yeah, Hyung hasn't been looking good lately, so it's refreshing to see him like this."

Hueningkai smiles and puts down the paper, cupping his face in his hands. "Hyung looks happy now, that's good." He says as he watches Soobin sipping the drink, trying to avoid Yeonjun's dimple pokes, but eventually gives up and lets him, making the older smile widely and say some inaudible comments, probably about how cute he was. "But you've got to admit, they're behaving like a real couple already. I'm kind of jealous." he sighs, blowing a strand of his long hair away from his face.

"Don't worry, bro. You'll find someone one day." Beomgyu put his arm around his shoulder and pats it encouragingly. "I agree. You definitely have the personality, but the looks.." Taehyun tilts his head. "..well, it could be improved." he says, sipping his americano. "Hey, that was mean." Hueningkai folds his arms and whines, while Beomgyu snickers at his comment.

Yeonjun skips to the door, Soobin walking behind him, also content that his friend- no, boyfriend was smiling again. It looked like he had made the right decision. Now all he needed to do was maintain this, and everything would be fine. Honestly, he just wanted to make sure everyone was happy. Everyone, especially his.. boyfriend.

His happiness just seemed to matter more than anyone else's. He saw Yeonjun, ever since that day when he confessed his secret, as a small, precious angel who deserved the entire world, after what he's gone through. You couldn't blame him for wanting to keep him safe and sound forever.
