amanda
—————

tonight is the last show of the tour.

meaning i'd have to return to reality tomorrow morning.

it was fun while it lasted, and i'd never trade what i've experienced for the world.

especially all of the moments i've shared with colson.

i've never felt how i feel about him for anyone else.

"have you seen colson?"
i ask john who is standing by the food bar.

"not since you guys first arrived."
he tells me.

john is a part of colson's security, so he'd know where he went.

i wonder where he could be.

making my way through the many halls backstage, i start jogging around calling his name.

"colson!"

still no answer.

as i'm looking around, clearly not paying attention to where i'm walking, i collide straight into somebody's chest.

they catch me before i fall to the floor, and i immediately collect myself to apologize.

"i'm so sorry."
i franticly speak looking at the person.

when my eyes land on them, i smile surprised.

"douglas?"

"hey! amanda! how are you?"
the brown haired brit opens his arms.

"oh my gosh! dougie!"
i basically jump into his arms, hugging him.

"it feels like ages since we've last spoke."
his cute little accent shines when he speaks.

"i know! i've missed you."

douglas and i became friends a couple years ago.

we met here in london when i was in a fashion show.

i happened to be staying in the hotel right next to his favorite tea shop.

we met one morning and chatted over tea and coffee and we've been friends ever since.

"i can't believe you're here!"
i smile widely, surprised to see my old friend.

"colson invited me, i figured since he's in london i'd come."

"i'm glad you did. if only i could find him. how'd you two meet anyway?"

"well, he hasn't said anything about the dirt i suppose?"

i shake my head 'no' not sure what he's referring to.

"well we're playing nikki sixx and tommy lee in netflix's new movie, the dirt. it's about mötley crüe and their lives."

"holy shit! that's amazing! i cant believe he hasn't told me!"

"well we officially ended filming a few months ago, it should be out in march."

"i can't wait to watch it. it'll be fun to see you with long hair and shit. lookin like a rock star."

he chuckles at my enthusiasm and smiles widely.

"and look at you, with a whole ass beard now."
i run the back of my fingers along his prickly face.

"i know, i rather quite like it."

"it looks nice."

holy shit, i can't believe how nice it feels to catch up with him.

i haven't seen him in months and i'm so happy i ran into him today.
